Dear ladies and gentlemen of the Jury
I bring before you the one man
That one master of deception
The man one and only
Death
And I accuse him of kidnapping the old, young, and sick
And he is not meant to be here
This pain might never stop
But that doesn't mean it should continue
This concludes my opening statement
Your Honor, if I may show the evidence
"You may"
Ladies and gentlemen of the Jury,
Here is a tombstone
It has the exact date of birth and death
Interesting don't you think
You might think this as science
But this is a crime
It is in fact a journal entry
Now I call to the stand
A little boy who is in the band
But has been in and out of hospitals his whole life
This is grief isn't it
But this is work
At least for death
There are 7.53 billion people on this earth
But guess what
151,000 people die each day
That is outrageous
You take that many people
And look there goes another
And another
And one more
You never stop
You never stop working
Your Honor, this man has taken to many people
But there is more
They suffer
This might only be for under 5
But 29,000 kids die
Kids ladies and gentlemen
That is sad
People die by their own hands
In fact their going away is a note
They say they are sorry
Placing it by their feet
Placing it where people see them
I would hate to see anyone die
For the what this man has done
I didn't want to get personal
But I was named after an amazing man Death took away
The name - Frank Michael Garruto
Now I don't have the middle name
But I was named after him
He was such a big part of me
Then many people were taken from me
By the same man
The same deceiver
Death
Not only does he take, he confuses
He is the cause of drugs and cigarettes and alcohol
He is the one who made people crazy
That is his way of fun
It is psychotic
He toys with children
Gives them nightmares, for what?
To put fear inside you
But let me tell you something ladies and gentlemen
This being has tortured people forever
And that isn't an exaggeration
Nor is it a lie
It is the truth
Ever since Earth came to play, so did Death
And people can't do anything to stop it
We know Death is coming
And we turn the blind eye
We need to not only face Death head on
But also our other fears
Our fears of being our true selves
Of wanting the impossible
Dreaming the unthinkable
Look at a little kid
They are always so happy
And full with imagination
Afraid of barely anything at all
Then fast forward to parents
Bills, kids, food
All these, and we are feeding Death himself
Stop everything we can
Stand together and we can complete a common goal
Stopping Death and Fear once and for all
I rest my case Your Honor
