Maya was a little underwhelmed at her parents reappearance, now don't get me wrong- she was over the moon at their arrival, but something was off. It wasn't a big thing, oh no- but something was off, and it had something to do with her parents: It was the way they acted and talked, it wasn't normal- but what do you expect from a couple who had been lost for 3 weeks. This is what Maya told herself day after day, night after night- but she couldn't get it out of her mind. Something was off with her parents, and she had to take charge.
Now what made Maya's disappearance so shocking was the fact that it came out of the blue, no signs, no warning- nothing. And I know that you want to know what happened to her but you'll have to wait, it could be a while: and that isn't determined by how fast your reading this but actually by the fact that, no one really knows what actually happened to little Maya Meadows, we know what happened after but not how it happened. Oh yeah I forgot to write about the night of her disappearance: now now as 'The pitch black night'. It got its name because on that night, at exactly 12:00 AM a strange and wonderful scenario conveyed, that was the night Maya disappeared.
Once a girl frolicking in the town like everyone else, turned into a myth, a mere legend- even to people closest to her: and it all took place at exactly 12:01 am. While others were sleeping soundly, Maya Meadows was taking her last breaths- at least on this universe.
