Chapter 1

I woke up and groaned. Today is the first day of school. I'm popular but not, if you get what I mean. I'm only popular because I'm friends with the 'hottest guy' in school, Gray Fullbuster, the most popular stalker, Juvia Lockser, the best student in the whole academy, Erza Scarlet, the good boy/bad boy in school, Jellal Fernadez, the best player of the school's team, Gajeel Redfox, and finally, the most brilliant and intelligent student in school, Levy McGarden. My best friend is Happy, but he doesn't make me popular because he's younger, which I obviously don't care. Also, my sister Wendy Marvel and her best friend Carla. Anyways, people know me, like my name and all, but I don't really matter in the school so that's why I'm not that popular. Still, I'm like a bad boy. Just that not completely.

I stood up and got a bath in my personal bathroom. Yes, I have a personal bathroom. Still its not that great. Its messy and... I don't know. The toilet seems like its going to break down at any second and the shower doesn't have hot water. Why? Because Karina, my step-mother doesn't want me to bath with hot water, so I'm stuck with cold water for now. Once I got out from my bathroom, Karina stepped in.

"Natsu, you little shit, get your fat ass downstairs already." she said.

"Yes, ma'am. I'll be there in a sec." I replied. Yep, my 'mother' hates me, but that's a story for later.

I get dressed (not specifying just imagine what he, and everyone else, wears, ok?) and go downstairs. Wendy was sitting in the dining room. She smiled at me as I sat next to her. Then, Karina, a women with white hair and yellowish eyes and a white-as-paper skin, came right towards us holding up two plates. She sat one plate with two regular pancakes with syrup and some whip cream in front of Wendy. Then, she sat another plate with a VERY small pancake with nothing else in front of me.

"Arigato." Wendy and I say in sync and start eating(duh, they obviously have a fork and a knife.XD just didn't care to write it above).

When I finish eating, Wendy notices that I'm still a bit hungry, so she secretly gives me a piece of pancake with syrup. I smile at her as a 'thanks' and eat it. Then, I clean the plate so Karina doesn't notice the syrup. when Karina took the plates, she went to the kitchen.

"Natsu! Come here at this same instant!" she suddenly yelled. I rush to the kitchen and saw that she was holding my plate. Crap! I didn't notice there was still a bit of syrup on the edge of the plate.

SLAP!!!

She slapped me in the face. Then, she broke the plate on my head and started to beat me up.

"Now go clean yourself up and leave you little shit." she said.

"Yes ma'am. Sorry." I replied before leaving to my room then outside with Wendy.

"I'm sorry, Natsu-ni" (I think that's what they say when they're brothers, right?) Wendy said looking at the floor while we walked to school.

"Hey, its not you're fault, ok? And thanks. I'd rather get that piece of pancake and get beaten to a pulp, than being hungry the rest of the day." I said comforting her.

We got to school and got to class.

~Lunch~

I went up to the cafeteria and sat down at a random table. Suddenly, a blonde girl approaches me.

"Excuse me, can I sit here?" She asked.

"Yeaaah sure." I replied. Why is she here? Who is she anyways?

"Lucy Heartfelia." She says as like if she reads minds.

"Natsu." I replied and lend my hand.

"Natsu what?" she said while shaking my hand.
