I was sitting in my living room watching a scary movie,wondering why my parents were late getting home from their date, when i got the news.
I jumped as the phone started to ring at the exact same time as the stupid girl, that never seems to listen to me, walked in the closet.
I paused the movie and walked into my kitchen where the phone was located grabbing an apple on the way. The caller ID was restricted,i usually don't answer these phone calls, but i also wasn't very excited about getting back to that God awful movie.
I answered the call with a polite
"Hello?"
That's when my life changed.
"Hello this is Lisa Park from the El Camino Medical Group, Is this Brianna Keading?"
"This is she" I answered getting confused more and more by the second."May I ask why your calling?"
"Well yes, are your parents Timothy and Rachel Keading?" she asked, cautiously.
"Yes! did some thing happened to them?! What happened?" I almost yelled griping the phone till my knuckles turned white.
"Mrs.Keading, im sorry to inform you but your parents got into a car crash 2 hours ago."
"'Oh my God! Are they alright? Can i come visit?" i said already grabbing my keys from the counter.
"Ms. Keading I'm sorry to have to tell you this but neither of them made it ."
I dropped the phone and the keys as i collapsed to the ground.
"Ms Keading hello?! Are you there? I'm calling an ambulance for you!"
And that's the last thing i heard before everything went black.
