"what the fuck do you want now?" i complained.
an alien guard was putting me in hand cuffs when i activated my belt's automatic weapon system and killed the guy.
"you guys really are stupid. i'm the smartest man in the universe." i said patting down my clothes.
"look rick. we have a job for you." one of the ricks said. "just listen."
i hate these guys, damn.
"there is a human that lives a few streets down from you, her name is (y/n) (l/n)."
(y/n)? that prick that was poking at my shit?
"she had a portal gun. that allows her to access different dimensions and collect resources that can negatively affect your planet and even the whole universe." a rick said.
"you are the only one who should have a portal gun, because you know how to handle it. she...she's just a girl."
"you need to kill her, and if you don't we will explode the whole of earth."
ugh effort.
"fine whatever i'll to kill her now geez." i sighed and walked through a portal back home.

i woke up to rick coming through a portal in my room.
"oh hey rick, where did you go?"
"ugh shut up. i need to kill (y/n)." he groaned.
(y/n)? that cool girl that's really smart.
"what why?" i said alarmingly.
"i didn't really listen, the council of ricks s-said something like she has a portal gun wh-which means she can get stuff that is dangerous bla bla bla."
"so you're killing her because she's smart?" i guiltily.
"ughh, get over it." rick rolled his eyes left my room.
a few minutes later i went downstairs to get breakfast. my boring family were sitting at the table as usual.
summer was on her phone, mum was eating and dad was playing that stupid balloon pop game.
after i finished i went through to rick in the garage.
"how are we gonna find (y/n)?" i said leaning in the doorway.
"i'm tracking her portal gun right now." rick said facing his desk.
"how are you... you know... gonna kill her?" i asked.
rick stopped fidgeting with his device and swirled round in his chair.
"b-bullet in the head sounds easiest." he shrugged,
i sighed and walked over to rick.
"something about this doesn't feel right. i don't want you to kill her." i said guilty.
"look m-morty, she's gonna die anyway one day so why not speed up the process. besides would you rather a random girl dead or the world exploded?" rick sighed.
"you know, i think we should give her what she wants." i said having a plan.
"make her last few days good, so we don't feel as bad for killing her."
"no, no, no you're gonna get all friends with her and get attached. no." rick said.
"then just memory wipe me." i said.
rick paused for a minute.
"but w-what if i...nevermind. come on morty, i know what to do." rick said as he shot a portal on the wall with his portal gun.
pov : (y/n)
i was watching some tv in my house when a green portal appeared in front of me and rick and morty stepped out.
"hi? i said confused almost forgetting who they are.
"we need you urgent." rick said grabbing my wrist, pulling me of the couch.
i looked at him with an eyebrow raised.
"come on." morty said as he stepped back through another portal that the portal gun made.
rick, still grabbing my wrist pulled me through the green glowing mist.
"what is it?" i asked when we appeared in the garage.
"eh...um..." rick said in thought like he was trying to come up with something.
"morty is sick." rick said nudging morty's arm.
morty looked up at rick as he glared back. "oh... oh! yeah i'm sick." morty suddenly said and started coughing dramatically over and over again.
"the rest of the family are going ... on...h-holiday somewhere tonight." rick explained, looking straight into my eyes. "i need to work on my inventions and someone needs to take care of morty."
"can you stay a few nights?"
