The Mysterious Textook

Tick-Tock-Tick Tock

"Ughhhhhhh, How much longer?"

I was staring at the large clock in front of the classroom.We only had 5 more minutes until class was over, but in actually felt like 5 hours.The teacher was blabbing on about how we need to get our act together.But to be completely honest I really don't care about were I'm gonna end up as long as get through high school I will be fine for the rest of my life.I eventually realize i got lost in thought and prayed that when i look at it would be 4:05.It was still 4:00.

You've got be kidding me. Not even a minute. has passed

I continued to stare for an uncomfortable amount of time that my friend Nick noticed me having starring contest with the clock.

"Cut it out dude, it hurts my head just looking at you" Nick whispered to my ear

Nick has been one of friends since middle school.He would always come over to my house after school and we would play video games until my mom would shout at us to do our homework.Nick as always been like that annoying big brother to me.I especially hate when ii lose to him in a video game match.He would explain everything i did wrong and would tell me the correct way to do it. Now don't get me wrong, some of the advice has actually helped me in some rounds against him.He now fast forward a few years later and he still like a big brother to me. And now we are attending the same high school.Nick is in a few of my classes so we usually sit next to each other.

" Shut up, you brain dead idiot."I whispered back

Nick looked at me,"Sigh...When will you ever grow up" Nick says laughing a little

"What did you say" At this point I started to yell.

"I swear after class I'm gonna beat yo-OUCH!"

I felt something hit me hard on the back of my head.I looked closed my eyes in pain and looked around for the object that was thrown at me. It was a textbook. I knelt down and picked up the textbook and started to read the cover.

Advanced English. Why is this book down here. The Advanced English class was upstairs on floor two.So how did.....

"Yo Justin" I realized that space out and turned around to see my friend Nick standing at the door. I glanced around the classroom to realize that everyone has gone home.

"Hey Nick, What time is it" I said as I tried to remember what happened

"Dude its 4:20, You've been yelling and complaining for 5 minutes. Then when someone threw that textbook at you picked it up and stared at it for 15 minutes,"

"O-Oh, Alright, thanks dude" I said back

" Whats wrong with you loser, are you going to walk home with me or what?" Nick said as he was about to exit the room

"U-Um, no thanks, but I'll walk with you tomorrow" i said as i gathered all my work which for some reason was on the ground.

"Your lose bro" he said as he exited the classroom

"Later" I shouted loud enough so he could hear me

I started to gather all my papers and stuffed them into my bag. I checked my phone to see that my mom told me that she was coming home late and she wanted me to buy food from the small little coffee shop my friends mom works at. My mom would always work late so this is how my life as been for a while now, but i really don't really mind.I grab my stuff and went out to look out of the view from the classrooms window. There were a bunch of kids walking home with there friends. I look up at the sun and felt the warm glow on my body.I felt the wind run through my hair as i look out the window i get lost in thought.

I am eventually awoke from my train of thought by a sound.I glance around checking to see the time.

4:40 P.M!! You've got be kidding me I stood ad looked out of a window for 20 minutes

I run toward the door, as i was about leave i hear a sound coming from the classrooms cleaning supplies closet.
