The story of us

Chapter 1

Best friends that's what we are apparently girl and boy friendships are the most beautiful and I'd have to agree.
My names Natalie and I first met my best friend at the young age of 3, ever since we have have been inseparable.
His name is Matt short for Matthew of course, he nicknamed me natty which I don't really like but I still let him call me it anyway.
We are the kind of friends that had sleepovers, when there was a storm he would give me his teddy to hold cause I was scared even though he was to.
We saw the best and worst of each other. We would dream of being inventors and turn his yard into our own outdoor lab.
Where we would build traps which our mums would almost get stuck in when it was time for me to leave trying to catch us.
We also would dig holes I don't know why I guess we just got bored.
But now we're older and high school is next year YIKES!

I'm worried about our friendship though because we start high school, I know you're probably thinking that nothing will change.
Its just high school but I'm unfortunately being forced to go to a girls only school, and him an all boys school.
He doesn't think anything will change but I highly doubt that.
This is the last I will see of him for a while I don't know when we will see each other again, I hope we stay in touch...
