"aish, hyung!! chenle has been rambling about the same thing over and over again– it's already annoying me." i shouted as i came down stairs to meet with my other brothers.

"am not!" chenle frowned. "what's with the arguing you two?" taeil hyung questioned as he was busy fixing renjun's bowtie. "chenle has been rambling about a g—" my words turned into a muffled mess as chenle slapped his hand to cover my mouth. "nope, it's nothing hyung!" chenle exclaimed, giving me a side glare.

"you kids have been acting weirdly," taeil hyung said pointing a finger at chenle and jaemin. "especially you two."

"me?! how did i get into the situation." jaemin's eyes widened.

"he's talking about what happened two days ago." youngho hyung chuckled. jaemin rolled his eyes, "i told you, i was just roaming around the castle." renjun suddenly scoffed out of nowhere, all heads turning towards him due to the sudden outburst. i looked at jaemin and saw him eyeing renjun while renjun nervously smiles, "sorry, didn't mean to." he apologizes.

i cleared my throat, there is definitely something wrong with them. "anyways, we have training at 8 okay?" taeyong hyung reminded us as he stood up. "yeah, don't go anywhere for so long. our mentor wouldn't want us to be late." ten hyung nodded and also stood up.

"where are you heading off?" lucas asked renjun. renjun pressed his lips into a thin line as taeil hyung finished fixing up his bow. "mother told me i can head towards the town's library today." renjun grinned. "what's with the suit then?" i asked. "you know mother, she wants us looking all elegant and such." renjun sighed.

"are you going alone?" sicheng asked. "hmm, if anyone wants to come, i'll gladly bring you guys with me." renjun shrugged. "ooh! i wanna come." i grinned. "and what are you even gonna do there?" yuta hyung squinted his eyes at me. "maybe read a book for school?" i mumbled, of course joking. "i don't one bit believe you'll read a book." yuta shook his head.

i scoffed, "let me be."

"don't cause chaos if you're gonna come." yuta said and followed ten, sicheng and taeyong. "alrighty!" i agreed.

"can i come too?" jisung raised his hand shyly. "huh?" chenle furrowed his brows, "i thought you would play games with me?" chenle pouted. jisung thought for a minute, "ehh– i wanna go out the gates though. being stuck in the castle is sickening."

chenle sighed, "alright then. jaemin hyung! will you play with me?" jaemin nodded, "i will."

"mark hyung! join us." chenle said and grabbed mark and started dragging the two towards the hallway. "see you guys at training!" lucas shouted before running off to somewhere.

"don't do anything stupid okay?" taeil hyung said.

"yeah listen to taeil, don't do anything stupid." doyoung chuckled. "bring me food from mrs. kang bakery when you're going back home." doyoung told them before leaving.

"what now?" i questioned jisung and renjun. renjun shrugged, "you two go get changed, i'll go talk to mother and tell her about it." i nodded at his order and quickly ran off with jisung to our own room.

after dressing up, we all met up by the fountain outside our grand entrance.

"luckily, mother allowed the three of us to go. jisung– she wouldn't allow you at first, good thing she did." renjun told us before getting inside the car.

PARK JISUNG。

"woah, i can't believe it." i smacked donghyuck hyung's thigh as he yelped in pain. "that hurts!" donghyuck pouted. "hehe i'm so sorry hyung." i apologized as i continued to look out the tinted glass window. "it's been so long." i mumbled, mesmerized by the beauty of our town.
