Brianna POV:

Today was the day and man was I nervous. Apparently everybody else was nervous because I woke up to everybody cleaning. “What the hell is going on?” I yelled. They all just looked at me before Chelsea said, “We’re cleaning the house because the guys are coming over from the airport.” That made me a lot more nervous because I would have nowhere to go. I quickly got dressed, headed downstairs, and then got in my car. I didn’t really know where I was going but I knew that I didn’t wanna be there for the cleaning. I figured out where I wanted to go once my stomach growled. So, I drove to the café, got coffee and a muffin, and then went home. It was only eleven and the guys didn’t touchdown until twelve. It was awkwardly quiet because nobody was there. I didn’t really know where they were but once I walked into my room I saw a note that read: “Off to the airport to get the guys. Hope to see you there. –Becca” I wasn’t planning on going anyway so I just called Marcus to see if he wanted to come over and hang with all of us.

M-“Hey Bri, what’s up?”

B-“Hey, nothing much. What you doin’ today?”

M-“Uh nothing to my knowledge. Why?”

B-“Well the guys are coming over from the airport and I was wondering if you wanted to come over.” I wasn’t sure if the silence was a no, so I waited for an actual response.

M-“Wouldn’t that be a little awkward?”

B-“No, why would it be?” I asked suspiciously

M-“Well, they don’t even know me. And I don’t wanna just show up outta the blue.”

B-“That’s the point Marcus. My friends don’t know you and that’s bad because you’re my friend too. So I thought that all my friends could finally meet each other.”

M-“I’m not so sure.”

B-“What do you got to lose?”

M-“That’s true. What time should I get there?”

B-“Before them and they touchdown at twelve. So before twelve would be best.”

M-“Wait, what should I wear?”

B-“Just wear sweatpants and a t-shirt. We all dress pretty comfortably here anyway.”

M-“Ok, see you soon.”

Once Marcus hung up, I went and got in the shower. I couldn’t be in there long since I knew he was coming over soon. My main concern was my hair but I didn’t wanna worry about that now, so I just threw it into a ponytail, for the time being. I didn’t want Marcus to feel uncomfortable in a t-shirt and sweatpants, so I wore the same. I threw on my black “dance” sweatpants, “I’m no rookie” Yankees baseball shirt, and navy converse. After I was dressed, I had to do my hair. People always see it out and curly so I decided to straighten it and then put my hair into a side braid. It took a little longer because I kept messing up the braid but I finally got it and it didn’t look like total crap.

Right as I was finishing my hair, Marcus rang the doorbell and I was so relieved that he got here before the guys. Once I opened the door, he enveloped me in a warming hug, which I returned. “You weren’t kidding when you said that you dress comfortably.” He said looking at my outfit. “Of course not. That’s how we do things here.” I said jokingly. I didn’t wanna just stand in the doorway, so I grabbed his arm and led him to the couch so we could watch Despicable Me. We were like little kids at heart but we didn’t care. We sat and watched the movie until the others got home. But I didn’t know what was taking them so long. I got a little scared, so I called Becca.

Me-“Hey, where are you guys?”

Becca-“Well, we’re waiting for the guys.”

Me-“They still aren’t there?”
