Going back on time

I Love You

I didn't hear any gunshots, maybe I am dead, I still feel like standing, there was just silence, I finally opened my eyes to find that I was still at DandeField, I was confused until I saw Mark with Jake and Claire.

"Hold your fire please, just a minute." Mark shouted,

"We have something to show you." Claire said,

"My uncle is a time traveler, and we saw Jane Lim's past, we think you should see it." Jake said,

The three of them came in the circle and to me, Mark handed me the timeball.

"It's time to see your past." Mark said,

I rubbed the ball and the place started to become wobbly, all the people saw it including the Mens, Marco, Charlie and the Chief, I thought about the time when I was twelve, I rubbed the ball and I saw that we were in my old house.

"Okay, you must not be seen by yourselves or there will be a mess." Mark said,

We hid somewhere we can't be seen and I pressed the green button, the time played and we saw everything, I saw myself hugging my brother as my father was torturing a victim, I rubbed the ball again and think about another event, the time played and I saw myself when I was twelve talking to my father.

"Father, can't we stop the killing?"

"I know, you're still a kid, and I don't want you to kill anyone at your age." My father responded,

"But I don't want to be a murderer."

"Shut up! I'll train you when the time is right, and I'm going to beat up your brother if you talk to me saying you don't want to be a murderer."

My father went to the basement and I saw myself cry, I also teared up a little, then to the last time, I rubbed the ball and thought about an event, we saw the time my father was caught already, we saw my little self grab the knife.

"That girl there was the murderer, she ordered me and threatened me if I didn't do it." My father said pointing at myself,

"I guess this is my first kill." Myself mumbled,

I saw myself stab my father triple times, I took the knife from his back and ran outside, I clicked the red button twice and we all fell to the floor, I tried to stand up weakly, Jake held me up and the Mens started to look down on me.

"So, was that what really happened?" Marco asked,

"Yes, Jane Lim was never the murderer of fifty people, her father was, but he only blamed Jane and all Jane wanted was to stop her father so she just stabbed her father for all this to stop." Mark responded,

"Jane Lim is a good person, she never wanted to commit murder." Claire said,

"And she doesn't deserve to face the death penalty but her father, but I guess Jane already killed him." Jake said,

Jake placed his arms around my neck, I smiled a little and stared at Marco who was walking towards me.

"I don't expect you to forgive me, but I am sorry for not atleast knowing your past." Marco said,

"Don't worry, I still forgive you." I said,

Marco smiled and Charlie also came to me.

"I'm sorry, for everything." Charlie said,

"It's okay." I said,

We all smiled including the Mens, news reporters started coming and interviewed us, other cameras had flash so I looked down to cover my face, Jake was stroking my hair while I placed my head at his chest.

"I have a question." Jake said,

"What is it?" I asked,

"What does 143 mean?"

"It stands for "I Love You"."

"Really?"

"Yeah, count the letters of every word."

We went in the car, I only rode at Jake's car and we followed the Police cars, I saw that the interviewers car were following us, we arrived at the Police Station to find lots of interviewers there.
