say, its all going wrong
it was meant to be, they say
I can't agree more, he says
taking flight, flying up high
away, away from all this sh*t
he says, holding onto her,
that salt that leaks,
I can't bear it, girl
you're all I have, don't do this, love
sighing aloud, she faces him,
I'm tired, she says
can't take it no more,
let go won't you?
let go of me, like you did before
he looks at her once more,
memorizing that face
lets her go then, crying inside
and then she's gone,
she's taken flight,
flying up high, away
away from all this sh*t
he breaks down,
falling down, down, down
the blackhole sucks him in
she flies up
higher and higher,
cotton clouds wrapping around her
all he thinks of is that face,
that beautiful, imperfect face
he knows he's lost it all
and he's sorry,
begging for a second chance,
all the time knowing it won't come.
