M- "where's Adrien? He should be here."
Alya- "I don't know Marinette, why?"
M- "well...I wanted to talk to him."
A- "really? You, talk to him?"
M- "I'm serious! I was...I wonder why he wasn't here today."
*bell rings*
A- "I don't know..Maybe you should call him?"
M- "no! I-I wanna do it in person, not over text."
A- "okay girl, I'll see you tomorrow. See ya!"
M- "bye."
*later that night in Marinettes room*
CN- "he wasn't there?"
M- "I know right! He never misses a day unless his father stops him from coming."
CN- "his father?"
M- "yeah...I just wish that there were a way I could help him with his problems, he's always sad at school...sometimes."
CN- "is...his dad very...strict?"
M- "I think so, I know that his dad never talks about his mother for some reason, I know this because he was running away from a group of people then we snuck to the movies and...he told me about his Mum...it's probably the only time I've had a decent conversation with him but...I had a towel on my head because we were hiding and we were trying not to get recognised hehe."
CN- "oh no."
M- "what?"
CN- "oh, don't worry. I-i j-just realised that I have things to do at home..umm...I'll talk to you soon, yeah?"
M- "o-okay, see you later Cat noir."
*cat noir smiles, waves then leaves.*
T- "well that was weird."
M- "hmmm...."
*20 minutes later in Adriens room*
P- "what's with the look on your face Adrien?"
A- "well...that's the thing."
P- "what is that supposed to mean? Makes no sense to me."
A- "well...I think the guy that Marinette has a crush on...is Adrien...Me."
P- "well...do you like her?"
A- "only as a friend Plagg, I love Ladybug...I mean, I guess I like Marinette In that way and I would go out with her if.."
P- "if Ladybug wasn't there."
A- "yeah, I just don't want to hurt her but...I also don't want to lie to her either."
*talks under his breath*
P- "if only you knew kiddo."
*Adrien didn't hear and stayed silent*
P- "c'mon kid, we should get some sleep."
A- "yeah, alright Plagg..goodnight."
