Run!!!
My mind was screaming at me to get up and go but my whole body hurt. The bruises and cuts on my body aching with every step I take.
Almost there
i could feel myself getting closer to the pack border, then I would be on human land and safe. I could start new. Leave my past behind me and start over.
I could sense when he found out I wasn't making him and the pack dinner.
"LIBRA! GET YOUR ASS BACK HERE YOU WORTHLESS PIECE OF SHIT!" Roared my angry brother.
I could see the tree line in the distance. With one last push of energy I pushed through the invisible barrier surrounding the pack grounds.
A searing pain went through me as I could feel myself becoming a rouge. My smell changed and i could feel my eyes turn orange. It was official I was free. No longer would I be maid to the pack that beat the crap out of me for the slightest infraction.
Lifting my head and smelling the air it smelled funny. Shrugging it off I ran for 3 hours to gain some distance from the pack border, never knowing what Jeff might do. Not that it mattered to me anymore I was free. The information finally sinking in.
Feeling exhausted I climbed a tree and settled down for the night, my body still sore and trying to heal. In the morning I would figure out what to do next.
