From the day he received a letter accepting him in Perelman school of medicine. Pennsylvania United States for further studies in pathology , the relationship between him and Constanza had been up and down . Connie was blaming him for applying without having let her know about it . Rodrigo argued he applied before they started dating , she argued he should have told her about it when they started dating.

Rodrigo couldn't turn down the opportunity because of their relationship neither Connie wanted that to happen , this was definitely good for him , addition to the studies he was to get was a job in a company there, the two decided to sit down and talk about it calmly , began by writing their dislikes and likes on pieces of paper , when done they shared the pieces of papers , reading through each others likes and dislikes , came to a conclusion to stick together no matter what happens , what they felt for each other was real . Connie promised to leave everything in Bogota to go wherever he goes , promised to work hard to support each other in whichever way .

"I think you should let Alfonso know about our decision , he's our boss here and your ex-husband ,am sure he still cares for you." Rodrigo suggested .

"Sure , it's better to officially say goodbye to him."

Connie went to his office to break the news to him , on telling him about Rodrigo's achievement and how she was leaving the university to join him . Alfonso was happy for the both , wished them well .

"But promise me one thing Connie , you're going to be careful . I don't want you to regret for choosing to be with Rodrigo , am not saying he's a jerk . Rodrigo has proven to be a really nice guy . I know he can take care of you but be more careful."

"I promise you .I'll be more careful , if I ever need anything . I'll call you and Sylvia."

"That's good and one more thing , please try to have child as soon as possible . I know after the death of Huria's mother , you never got a chance to have a child of your own , you always cared about Huria but I'd love to see you having a child of your own , you're truly a good mother." He chuckled .

"Rodrigo and I will work on that right away." She smiled.

While talking to Connie . Rodrigo came in and joined them , he wanted to confirm the news to Alfonso , not to hear all about it from Connie . Alfonso congratulated him and asked him not to come back to Bogota without a son or a daughter , the two promised to work on that and to pay visits whenever they get time .

The two left his office and on their way out , ran into Fiona reporting on her duty as Alfonso's assistant , gave the news to her as well . Fiona was happy for them . congratulated them and promised to let others know about it , she entered Alfonso's office . Alfonso asked her about her health .

"Well doctor . I must say am fully recovered but I have one problem though it's not health related . I think your advise would help in this ."

"What is it?"

"There is this journalist , his name is John , once we met when I was still in the jungle , we used to see him as a snitch though sometimes he helped the guerrillas convey their message to the government, he says he's fascinated with the story of a girl who was more likely to be the next commander of the guerrillas but ended up being a medical student , he wants to publicize my story , what do you think?"

"I hope you remember the day in the main hall when you were asked to describe the death of a woman whose body was found in a river , you told us what we didn't expect , about how she was tortured , buried in ground with her head sticking out on the surface , you told us she was a guerrilla right from one of her shoulders that appeared lower than the other because of a gun belt that was around her then later thrown away in the river ." He reminded her how extra ordinary she was . "Fiona , when carrying out forensic pathology , we're not only interested in the death of that particular person , we're also interested in the story of his or her life , how he or she came to die and that means you have a right to tell your story to that journalist because that is what's all about , you're a story behind a huge change in someone's life."
