"can you stay for a few nights?
pov : (y/n)
this all seems very suspicious to me. i know morty isn't really sick and they are trying to get me to stay at their house for some reason. dammit, i'm gonna be bored at home anyway, what do i have to loose?
"fine." i sighed slightly.
rick's eyes light up with joy although he hid it very well. "t-thanks, (y/n)." he said. "for morty, right?" he looked at morty.
"yeah..." i agreed. "for morty."
me and morty walked into the living room.
"morty, you should get so-some eh, sleep. rest. (y/n) will look after you while i work on my th-thingy thin- bye!" rick stuttered as he slammed the garage door.
"okay morty, how ya feeling?" i said going along with the suspicious events.
morty looked blankly at me for a couple of seconds. then he dramatically fell onto the couch with his hand resting on his forehead. "oh, i feel reeaaallyy sick, (y/n)." he cried.
i chuckled. "you could win a oscar for that acting." i said jokingly.
morty suddenly perked up from lying down to sitting on the couch. "w-w-what?" he said worryingly.
"dude, i'm joking." i said even though i wasn't. morty had relief in his eyes.
"come on, you piece of shit." i said pulling him up from the couch.
"that's what rick calls me." morty said.
"call him it back." i said walking morty up the stairs.
"last time that happened he abandoned me on some random planet." morty said sadly.
i couldn't help but laugh.
"hey it was a very traumatic experience for me!" morty said playfully hitting my shoulder.
i playfully pushed morty into his room.
"you need anything? medicine? food?" i said while pulling the covers over him.
"n-nope i'm good." he smiled. i smiled back.
"try get some rest, kay?" i said walking towards the door.
"okay i will, t-t-thanks (y/n). you know I really appreciate it." morty said. "no problem." i switched the light off and closed the door. i'll go downstairs and watch some tv.

"no problem." said m (y/n) switching the light off and gently closing the door.
i stared upwards at the pitch black ceiling. the i turned around laying down sideways gazing at the moon and stars out of my window.
i sighed.
do we really have to kill her?
there is something about her, she is special. she is a kind and caring person who doesn't deserve to die just because they are intelligent.
i tried not to worry about it and i felt my eyes getting heavy, then i drifted off into a deep, deep, sleep.

the front door opened, summer, beth and jerry were coming back from family therapy."oh, h-hey guys! wanna g-go on vacation!?" i said enthusiastically.
"oh my gosh, totally! thank you!" summer said throwing her arms around my neck.
urgh hugs. i only hug certain people.
i showed summer off. "i could really have a vacation right now." beth smiled.
"yes, you guys should treat yourselfs!" i grinned unnaturally.
"to be honest, i can't be bothered with the plane flight and everything." jerry said.
i spawned a portal. "get in dumbass." they all happily stepped into the portal.

this tv has some weird shows. i flicked through the channels, lying on the couch.
the garage door opened and rick walked through.
"hey (y-y/n)." rick said leaning on the wall.
"hey." i said still flicking through the channels.
"you can sleep in summers room tonight." he said.
summer? "who's summer?" i said looking at rick.
"oh yeah, you haven't met her yet. shes morty's sister and pretty a-a-n-annoying." he said moodily. "come on i'll show you her room."
i got off the couch and followed rick upstairs. he led me into a very pink room, with the walls full of boy band posters.
"its... very...pink..." i said.
rick sighed. "yeah, well whatever." he said emotionless, heading to the door.
he paused for a moment and turned around. "oh...uh- thanks f-for looking after morty for a few days." he said looking at the floor.
"sure." i slightly smiled.

i woke up to the sound of rick closing the door of summers room behind him. that must be (y/n) asleep now. he walked downstairs and i followed him into his garage.

i went downstairs back to my garage. i need to kill this girl before morty gets attached... or worse, i get attached. but that will never happen. it never has and it never will.
at that moment my phone started buzzing. ugh, what does the council of rick's want now?
"what?" i sighed as i picked up the phone.
"have you came up with a plan yet?" one of the ricks asked.
"yes geez I'm gonna k-kill her, okay?" i sighed tiredly. "It's gonna take some time though."
"as long as you kill her eventually, remember we are watching." another rick said.
"whatever" i said then hung up.
the door opened. it was morty.
"rick, i was thinking. why don't we t-ta-take (y-y/n) for ice cream tomorrow?" morty said twiddling his thumbs.
i sighed. we don't have anything better to do. i'll probably have to end up wiping his memory.
"fine, go to bed." i said grumpily. morty's face light up then he walked out and crept upstairs.
