"Brooke Wake up you need to go ahead and start packing I'm leaving and taking your sister with me to go to grocery store"
Mom said. You hated packing and you were leaving tomorrow to head to San Francisco for a dance summer intensive you have always wanted to go to. You had been saving up money for years and now you finally got to go. It's nothing like a boring ballet summer school at this intensive it was all types of dance. But anyways like you said you hated packing so you always procrastinated till last minute. You were dreading getting out of bed until you heard your phone ring and it was a text from your best friend Colby saying he was coming over to help you pack cause he knew you hadn't done it yet. After looking through social media you finally decided to get out of bed. You took a shower and ate breakfast. As you were done eating you heard the door open. "Wassup werdio" Colby said. You said nothing and rolled your eyes. "Well okay someone's in a bad mood". "I'm not in a bad mood just don't want to pack and still haven't found somewhere to stay and I leave tomorrow". You said as you walked to the closet and got out your suitcase. "Oh I'm glad you said that I cause I found somewhere for you to stay cause I'm such and amazing friend" Colby said in a sarcastic way. "No way your for real the best where did you find I will pay you back" "Well no need to pay me back but my cousin lives there in a penthouse and he said you can stay there for the summer" "Nathan?" You asked. As soon as Colby said "he" and that he was his cousin you knew exactly who it was. It was his stuck up cousin Nathan, who Colby always talks about. And your second thought was when Colby told you the story of how him and his family went down there and all Nathan did was party and you hated party's and people. "Okay your for real not the best anymore you know I hate party's and stuck up people and that all you ever say about Nathan" you said wanting to scream. "Wait how did you know it was Nathan?" Colby asked. "Well you said cousin, and penthouse. You have told me a thousand stories about him." "True but Brooke you will be fine. He might have changed but it's very doubtful that he has but still maybe you need to break out of your shell and meet new people. And not to mention you have no where else to stay." Colby said as y'all walked up to the stairs to your room to start packing.
"Ugh I hate you" you said "but you love me" you rolled your eyes after he said that. Y'all talked while you packed. After about 2 hours had passed you had packed pretty much everything but a couple of stuff. You walked to the bathroom to get your other things. As you were in there you heard your phone ring before you could ask who it was Colby already answered it. "Hello second mom" Colby said into the phone "hello Colby is Brooke there?" "Yes she is she right here listing to you" "yes mom" "honey I have some bad news" your heart dropped. "Your flight has been rescheduled to tonight in about 3 hrs so I hope you are ready and all packed I'm going to be back in about 30 minuets so be ready when I get home" mom said with a hope of you not getting mad.
