KIM OTTER's POV

"Sweetie! Come down for dinner" My mother yelled from downstairs. "I made your favorite, dumplings"

"I already ate!" I simply replied and was about to continue playing the last upgrade of Clash of Clans before someone, also known as my mum, swung the door wide open. "Hi mum"

She sighed, and sat down on my lumpy mattress, "Lucas told me that you've tried to have a boy over again. You know what we have talked about"

I rolled my eyes, "That boy was Raymond, mum" I stated, clearly annoyed by the frowned expression on my face. "And your-so-called boyfriend wouldn't let him in"

Oh yeah, if you didn't know already, I'm 101% gay(ly in love with Raymond). My mum was absolutely fine with me liking boys BUT her snobby boyfriend doesn't, because apparently, it's disgusting and inappropriate.

"Oh Raymond Mai?" The elder questioned, as I firmly nodded. "Ah, are you guys dating? You've been having him over a lot"

My cheeks turned crimson colours as I defensively shook my head in disapproval, "A-As if, we're only friends" I faked a smiled, when in reality I wanted the term 'friends' to magically disappear from my dictionary. "And besides, Raymond isn't gay" I added.

My mum strangely gave a suspicious look before declaring what I said was believable. She kissed my forehead; "Goodnight OtOt" And with that, she left.

I sighed.

Incoming Call...

"Hello? Who's this?" – ME

Raymond – "Ottie~"

I gulped.

"Mm?" – ME

Raymond – "I kinda need you"

"Now?" – ME

Raymond – "Yep"

"But we just saw each other, did we not?" – ME

Raymond – "Yeah but I need answers to our math homework"

Somehow, his last words dishearten me. What did I really expect from him anyways?

"...I'll just tell you the answers over the pho—" – ME

Raymond – "NO!"

Raymond – "I-I need to see you now"

"But Raymond, I'll get in troub—" – ME

Raymond – "I don't care. I better see you in 10 or else"

Call Ended

I yawned.

It's been awhile since I've had a full rest, I wonder who was the cause of my sleepless nights was, could you guess who? I lazily dragged myself out of bed, to pack my backpack, before opening my window. A heavy gush of strong wind hit my face, making me instantly shut the window. 'I guess I have to go the long way' I thought, as I carefully unlocked my bedroom door. The living room was empty, meaning it was frighten-sly dark. My hand was dangerously close from turning the knob of the front door before the lights flickered on.

"Boy! What do you think you're doing?" A voice, I hated since birth, interrupted.

I forcefully turned around, and met with a pair of furious eyes. The elderly man filthily grinned, and harshly grabbed my collar.

"You're going out with your little boyfriend, aren't you?" He asked, raising his busy eyebrow. "Look, let's make a deal. You'll go out now and do whatever you want BUT you have to do me a favor afterwards, deal?"

My eyes were startled, as my croaky voice led the way. "W-What's that favor?"

The almost-bald man let go of my collar and roared out an imitating chuckle, "I'll see...Now, go ahead and throw your gay ass on the street before I change my mind and tell your mother" Lucas warned, and trudged back into his shared room.

I sighed in relief. 'Glad that, that pig is gone and not intoxicating my air'
