The sky's were dark, anyone with half a mind was inside awaiting the storm with a nice book. Of course that meant I was outside like the crazy person I was. I love the thunder and the chos of a storm. At five years old I had been caught playing with electricity, my poor, mother almost had a heartatack. Most of the time I did as mother asked and stayed inside when it stormed, but tonight was different. The storm called to me, almost like it was summoning me, I had to go outside. If one were to look out the window all they would see in the flashes of light was a young girl. I have long red hair that went all the way to my mid-calf. Pretty amethyst colored eyes, full pale pink lips, light freckles across my nose, and I stood at about 5'3. I wasn't very muscular, but far more so then most girls my age. My name is Madni. Lightning was striking everywhere, trees lighting on fire from the merciless lightning. I wasn't paying attention as I saw a shadowy figure rushing towards me. The figure grabbed me around the waist, and pulled me out of the way as lightning stuck where I'd been standing. He was yelling at my stupidity as he pushed me in the direction of my home. Every time I tried to look at him, he would twist me away so I could not look upon him, cursing my stupidity the entire wat. When we reached my door, he turned to leave, and I twisted around quickly grabbing his collar. I pulled him back and whispered in his ear, "who are you?"
I could hear the smile in his voice as he replied, "chaos incarnate," before pulling away and dashing out of sight. With no other choice I went inside, and to sleep. The shadow clocked man stayed in my dreams for months. He was never crule, but he was always there, watching me.
