I was shocked that I saw myself sleeping, that was the reason all along, Claire only kept looking at me so I tried to open the cabinet, her eyes widened.
"Jane? Is that you?" She asked,
I knew she couldn't hear me so I looked for a paper and a pen, Claire started to open her cabinet and took out a paper and a pen.
"Write what you have to say." Claire said,
I wrote two words that made her smile.
"Good morning too." Claire said,
She went downstairs, I hold the paper so she knows where I am.
"Jane, It'll be better if you wake up already, I'm making eggs and pancakes." Claire said,
I wrote at the paper.
"Wake me up please."
"Okay, I will wake you up after I cook." Claire said,
Then a man's voice spoke.
"Who are you talking to?" Mark asked,
"Jane." Claire responded,
"Where is she?"
"I don't know."
"What do you mean?"
I started to walk towards Mark, I floated the paper infront of him and he became scared.
"Are you saying...?" Mark asked,
"Yep, that's Jane, not the paper but the one who's holding it." Claire responded,
I suddenly got thrown away and I woke, I smiled and went downstairs.
"Are the pancakes and eggs ready?" I asked,
"It'll be in a minute." Claire responded smiling,
"Did I scared you?" I asked Mark,
"Hell yeah." Mark responded,
I took the paper and crumpled it and tossed it in the garbage bin, Jake and Steve started groaning and woke up, Jake looked at me and smiled.
"Good Morning." He said,
"Good Morning." I said,
Claire called us from the Kitchen, the pancakes and eggs were ready, we started eating altogether, I was stuffed and prepared to take a bath, I changed to my Black T-shirt "Shrugged", and Ripped Jeans, I also wore my black shoes again, I went downstairs to find Claire and her parents.
"Jane, we're going to Boston already, hope you two take care of yourself." Mrs. Higgins said,
"We will." I said,
They both left, I forgot to ask when will the babysitter arrive, so I just waited until she comes, Jake, Mark and Steve left already, Me and Claire was left alone, but we only watched t.v, then we heard the doorbell, I answered it and found a woman.
"Hi! I'm Amelia, I'm the assigned babysitter." She said,
Her name definetely reminded me of Amelia, I still regret trying to steal the knife away from her that night, I smiled for Amelia the babysitter and let her in.
"Claire, this is Amelia, the babysitter." I said,
"Amelia?" Claire asked,
"Don't." I warned Claire,
"What's up with my name?" Amelia asked,
"Nothing, you just remind us of someone." I said,
I finally faced her and I know she was gonna be shocked if I tell her my name.
"Jane Lim."
Her eyes widened, she then smiled next.
"You know, we treat you as our hero in our family." Amelia said,
"Really?" I asked,
"Yeah, you killed the murderer of our family member, my sister."
"Oh, your sister was my father's victim also."
She nodded, I then made her sat at the couch.
"Okay, we have rules for you." I said,
She nodded.
"One. Whenever you go out and you realize that there is a man looking at you like he's gonna try to kidnap you, come home immediately and lock every window and doors." I said,
"Two. If Me and Jane leaves the house and you're left alone, lock every door and window." Claire said,
"Three. Don't panic if you feel something's moving on it's own, it usually happens mostly at morning or evening, actually it's the time I sleep."
"Four. If you see a spark, call us immediately."
"Last. If you see this man, this is really important, you must call us immediately." I showed her the photo of Dave.
She agreed all the rules, and she became confused to one of the rules.
"What do you mean things start to move on their own mostly when you sleep?" Amelia asked,
"Nothing, It just happens." I responded,
She nodded, we led her to the guest room, she started unpacking her clothes, we went to the Living Room and Amelia sat in the couch.
"And Amelia, we have to teach you how to use a gun." I said,
"What?" Amelia asked,
"Aren't you weirded out that you're gonna babysit us?"
"Well I am."
"It's because our life is in danger, as always."
"So, I have to protect myself also."
I nodded, we three went to a secret place, I handed Amelia a gun, she seemed shocked to hold it.
"I can't believe I'm holding one." Amelia said,
I took a gun from my pocket.
"Why do you have these?" Amelia asked,
"Amelia, I'm the daughter of a serial killer." I responded,
She nodded, I showed her how to reload a gun, she seemed to get it after five tries, I also displayed a paper from a distance away from her, she doesn't seem to hit the point at the middle, she kept backing away everytime she fires, then the third time of reloading, she seemed to shoot near the point, she wasn't backing away anymore and she seemed to keep hitting near the point, then we finally stopped and went back to the house, I realized it was noon already, so Amelia cooked the lunch for us.
"I cooked Chicken Nuggets." Amelia said,
We all ate, I became full and I felt sleepy, I told Amelia I was gonna sleep, I lay in bed and closed my eyes.
I stood and looked at the bed, I saw myself sleeping so I was dreaming, I went downstairs, Claire was nowhere to be seen, I wanted to ask Amelia but I know she couldn't hear me, so I wrote in a paper and made it looked like it flew from the stairs, Amelia read it and walked to the room, she tried pinching my arm until I was thrown away.
04:30PM
I woke up and sat.
"Hey, this paper wrote I had to wake you up." Amelia said,
"Yeah, that's what I told you, things can move here." I said,
"Oh my."
"Wait, where's Claire?"
"She left to the Market."
I heard the door opening downstairs, I walked there to find Claire was freaking out.
"What's going on?" I asked,
Claire came to me and held my arms.
"Dave's found already."
