"so i kiss you goodbye, maybe i shouldn't, not when it's good"

i'd always thought i didn't really have a type in guys. i was less particular. a hot guy was a hot guy. but i realized now that i must have been the most difficult to please of all of them. apparently, my type was extremely specific, i'd just never known it. i hadn't known i was looking for eyes the color of ink, because i'd never seen it before.

i stared at abel, a little dazed, as usual.

"i need a back rub, i feel agitated," he looked at me hopefully.

a back rub for such a stunning human being? how could i resist such an offer?

"of coarse," i responded.

"then I'll see you at my place in a couple of hours, yeah?"

"mhmm."

he glanced at me for one brief second before walking away, leaving me at the lobby of the girls dorm room building.

it was raining, the lights across campus flashed through the rain. the rain lashed against my face; i pulled my hood up. it was a good thing that i didn't wear anything too formal, a hoodie and black leggings were all i had in mind.

i slowly entered the lobby of the boys dorm room building which i have never been in, and i was hit by the faint scent of weed. a couple of boys sitting around turned towards me, taking a quick glance and looked away.

i approached the elevator, pressing the up button as it dinged open. once i was inside, i pressed in the fourth floor according to abel, was where his dorm room was. it was my first time so i didn't know what to expect.

i exited the elevator as it stopped, and walked through the long corridor. 127, i stopped in front of the red door with a large "xo" symbol on it. i could hear voices from inside the room, wondering whether we'd be alone or not. i took a deep breathe, knocked lightly and waited.

a few seconds passed, and the door slowly opened revealing abel, wearing only a t-shirt and puma sweats, not his usual attire i was used to. his jaw set when he saw me, and his eyes darted to my face and away so quickly that i wasn't sure if i'd only imagined it.

"hey, you're... here," when he spoke, he seemed to be choosing his words very carefully.

"was i not supposed to?" i was surprised. were there any girls inside?

"no, i just didn't expect it," he said scratching the back of his head, taking a uneasy look behind him.
