Utkarsh returned to Mumbai from Bangalore after a week and found out that Monika and Avantika left his house leaving with the News of her being abused by Utkarsh. They highlighted her fractured hand as evidence.
He became angry with the fake news, damaging his personality. His unconscious mind told him that he should be guilty about that night. He shouldn't have crossed his limits with her. But he was tempted. He did what he did. He didn't plan that, that just happened. He was so stupid.
When he reached home he felt relieved that he didn't have to see Avantika but he never thought that Monika would also leave. He didn't say anything about divorce yet. He went to meet his dad who showed him divorce paper signed by Monika.
" I guess they told you what I planned for them. They must left the house so that they don't have to suffer my wrath "
Utkarsh told his dad to justify his action before Karan accused him.
" As you wished they left the house. So do whatever you want. No need to talk or discuss anything with me. You ashamed me " Karan showed disappointment in his voice.
" Dad! After what they did to me, you are still angry with me? See they showed their true colours by spreading fake news of being abused... "
"Well that was right, you actually abused them mentally with sick plan of yours"
"Are you even listening to yourself dad? You are taking their side. I know what that lady fed you with "
" shut up, I don't want you to talk with me unless it is related to business deals "
With that Karan left.
Utkarsh went inside his room and saw his room was as it is, like last he left. No change nothing. Monika's bag was still there near the wall. Her makeup brush and some jewelry was still on the dressing table.
He dialed Monika's number but she quit the call. Like he knew she would behave.
Why the hell did he even call her? He is going to see her for sure. He won't let this pass and let her behave like a victim.
He called his maid to clean the room and change the sheets.
On that day his own room looked strange to him. Memories of her played in his mind. Unsettling feelings were crossing with the winds.
Two-three days passed and Monika or Avantika made no contact with him, neither he tried to see them. He was waiting for the abuse news to hype down.
Avantika knew Utkarsh was going to be crazy for that news but what can she do? She was also furious with Utkarsh for ditching her daughter. Avantika was determined to ruin him totally but then thought of Mr. Karan Wadhwan crossed her mind who was still on her side. So she just let the news die down on its own and also told Monika that don't react on that news if anybody asked her.
" I hope mom, you didn't did that "
" What do you expect?" Avantika shrugged her shoulder lazily.
Monika shook her head annoyed with her mother as she didn't tell her about consummation yet. But Utkarsh did abuse her by sleeping with her and telling her all lies that he loved her.
Leaving that matter she decided to pay more attention to her career.
"uff mom! Being a celebrity's daughter is so much tiring. I went to ask for job according to my qualifications but see I end up giving autographs or selfies. "
She told her Mother who was worried from the morning. When Monika told her that she was going to apply for an ordinary job.
" I knew it Monika, that's why I was so worried. See this is not going to be easy. I hope nobody asked you about Utkarsh and you"
"So what mom? I don't care about media news. Anyways let's go. I called your doctor for a meeting to look for its treatment "
" No, it has no treatment I asked for it already, don't waste your money or time "
" mom! You promised me that you will let me take the charge now, in your and my life"
"let it be like what it is beta! I believe this kind of disease will grow faster inside me if they start treating me. "
" oho! Stop making excuse lets go"
"Monika please make sure nobody gets to know about this disease, this should be our secret only, if it get circulated in the media world I don't know how they are going to treat you or me "
" I know mom don't worry "
Life is not easy, it has its own ups and downs. 1 month passed....
Monika filed for divorce and Utkarsh filed against the divorce. He didn't want to divorce her yet. Tina was beyond mad with his decision but he calmed her down by making excuses that were a part of his plan.
When Utkarsh was going to take sip of his coffee a very annoyed Tina called him.
" I can't believe this Utkarsh that the director took Monika in his advertisement instead of me. I also auditioned for his films also. But that Avantika with her sources recommended her daughter "
"Tina don't worry your work and experience is bigger than her "
He encouraged her and got busy again in his work.
Utkarsh knew Monika was looking for a career in the Bollywood industry but didn't know she would cross his or Tina's path like this. The news of the divorce became more of media interest when Monika chose to start her career in the media industry. As expected some blogs made fun of Monika and Avantika's past relationships and some showed pity on her. Some accused Utkarsh.
The only choice left with Monika was to grab the opportunity which was silver plated to her by the page 3 world.
She became busy with her new work projects and Avantika was the happiest mother in the world. Finally, Monika was fulfilling her dream to work in the Bollywood industry.
She started fetching the works for her daughter excitedly. She especially started looking for the works which Tina was looking to avenge for her daughter. She is the one of them who ruined her daughter's life.
