Elliot is sleeping here tonight. It's been two days since he came home. I let him stay at Bradley's last night. Sarah is right that he shouldn't move houses a lot for his few first months of life. I went over to see him yesterday for a little bit. I feel like I need to prove to Bradley and my parents that I do care about him.

I just knocked on the door and Bradley answers while holding Elliot and feeding him.

"Hi" I say

"Hey" He says back. "I'm just feeding him. He'll be done in two minutes and then you can take him" He says.

"Ok" I say.

"Want to come with me to get him clothes real quick" Bradley asks.

"Sure" I say.

We walk upstairs and go to Elliot's room.

"I packed for him already. The bag is in that corner" He says and points to the corner of the dresser.

"I bought clothes the day we brought him home. Can he just wear those?" I ask.

"Did you wash them yet?" He asks.

"No" I say and shake my head.

"Just take these for tonight. Wash the clothes and then he can wear them" Bradley says.

"Ok" I say.

He finishes the bottle and Bradley burps him then hands him to me.

"You know, it's like he knows when you leave or when you are not there. In the hospital he stopped crying immediately when you held him and I couldn't get him to stop for a good hour before that. After I dropped you off on Wednesday he started crying the second you left the car and then after you left yesterday he started crying and he didn't cry the entire time you were here" Bradley says.

"I think I kinda like that" I say.

"I do too after I get him to stop crying" He says.

He helps me put the car seat in the car and then I leave. All Elliot did the entire car ride was sleep.

When I go to my house I take him out and we go inside.

My family came up and said hi to him right away. They have been excited to see him. They haven't seen him in about four days.

My mom takes him from me and they just kinda all passed him around and held him all day. I fed him when he needed to be fed or changed him when he needed to be changed and that was really it.

At night was when I did the most work. I change him from his daytime clothes and put him into a onesie. I also changed his diaper. I asked my mom if I should give him a bath. She said no, he doesn't need one for another two weeks. He was just awake for half the night. He wasn't crying but he was just awake and I didn't want to just leave him in his crib while I slept. I sat downstairs and watched tv and held him until about two o'clock in the morning when he fell asleep. I went back upstairs and but him in the bassinet. He also woke up crying four times after that.
