The Price Of Fame

Introduction

My life was hard. Most people would just scoff if I told them that. Being an American heartthrob and singer was the easy part, but all the other stuff was just a drag. Why you may ask, I'll tell you why.

Reason 1: Because I am constantly followed by camera men when I leave the house, camera men are the worst, I feel like I don't have any privacy.

Reason 2: I don't get any alone time, unless I'm in my house, but if I'm walking on the streets I get stopped every minute by another fan asking for my autograph. Not that I mind much, I'm flattered every time someone asks, it just sometimes gets a bit annoying. Anyways, I discovered that if I walk on the backstreets in a hoodie, no one recognizes me, not even the cameras men. 

Reason 3: I can't go out to eat with my beautiful girlfriend Hanna because whenever we try the camera men show up, just like how they do when I'm doing other things that seem at least a little interesting. I feel like camera men and interviewers are only doing it because they don't have lives of their own, so they find digging into others helps.

There are some perks of being me though, it can be fun at times. Why is it fun to be me?  

Reason 1: I tend to get all the stuff I want, seeing how I am basically a millionaire, I don't like to flaunt my money though, which is exactly why I decided to just rent a tiny apartment, instead of buying a big house.

Reason 2: All the fan mail! Knowing that people love me seems to boost my self esteem. Occasionally I will get a piece or two of hate mail, and then my self esteem goes back down. I keep reminding myself that I get a lot more fan mail than hate mail, so it shouldn't bother me when I do. 

Reason 3: Free stuff from people I don't know! But then again, most of the time I don't take it and tell them thanks anyways, I didn't like to take advantage of people.

And that is why it's not fun to be me and why it is fun to be me.
