"Hello?"

A high-pitched voice asks, snapping me out of my daydream. It was the weekend regular. He would only come on Saturdays and although I get only a glimpse of him once a week, I cherish it anyway. This was the only thing that got me through the whole week.

"Oh, pardon me. What can I get for you?" I finally respond, knowing full well what he's going to say anyway. A Caramel Macchiato.

"Just one medium Caramel Macchiato please." The gentle voice asks.

As he begins to rummage through his backpack looking for his coins, I begin making his drink. As I peek over at him, still searching for coins, I just give him the drink and place my hand on his as if to gesture him to stop searching.

"It's on the house." I smiled.

First, he gets shy at the sight of my hand on his but then is taken aback in regards to what I just said. He shakes his head as if to say he'll pay but I reassure him that it's okay and he does not need to.

"I see you order this every Saturday, it's really the least I can do." I give him a gentle smile to tell him that it's alright to accept this.

It takes a while to genuinely convince him, but he does end up taking that free drink. I smile at myself, feeling proud to have done what I did.

Guess I'll have to wait another week to see him again.

Sundays are usually never busy. Instead of cleaning up the shop, I tend to daze off. The door chimes as someone walks in. It's that weekend regular, but what's he doing here? Today? I was shocked to see he had come two days in a row now.

"Remember me?" He teases, expecting a laugh from me.

But I'm too shocked to even react, I give him a confused look because even he knows that he only comes here on Saturdays.

"Are you lost?" I jokingly tease him back, receiving a small chuckle from him. Wow. That laugh is quite something, I stay amazed.

He takes a while looking over at the bakery section, I offer him some help but he refuses.

"I don't want to keep you away from your daydreaming." He says, hinting that he's seen me doze off as he's entered a few times.

Damn. I'm embarrassed now.

"Are you not craving your Caramel Macchiato today?" I ask him, genuinely curious.

"I bet you get sick of making that." He answers apologetically.

"You're the only one who buys that. I quite enjoy making it." Especially since you're the one I'm making it for.

He chuckles, "Really?"

He looks surprised but I catch a glimpse of relief in his face, causing me to smile but I hold back so he doesn't think I'm odd.

"I think you make the best Caramel Macchiato." He compliments with a huge grin on his face. He looks so genuinely sincere about it that it shows on his whole face and makes me want to squish his cheeks.

"Where else have you had it?" I ask, knowing full well that this is the only coffee shop in town.

"Just here." He mumbles, thinking I didn't hear which I did. I let out a soft chuckle, automatically causing him to let out a small smile.

That smile. I want to be the only one capable of making him smile just like that.

He finally comes to a decision, looking at the menu behind me and back at me. He moves his head in this motion quite a few times which confuses me.
