The pain you dont deserve

I understand she was your friend first
I understand that you had a special bond
The rare, unbreakable kind
I understand why you loved her
You would be crazy not to
She's amazing

But that was then.
And now?

Now she has other special bonds
Bonds that she replaced yours with
Now she hardly blinks in your direction if it doesn't benefit her
Now she only speaks to you if she's in need

And those new bonds?
They are the ones that call themselves your friends
Yet they talk shit behind your back
So if those are the people she made bonds with
Where does she stand?

I understand she makes you happy
She was there to support you
But did she really support you?
Did she really care?
I understand you don't break bonds easily
But is it really worth keeping this one?

She leans on you for support when she's hits rock bottom
But treats you like shit when she's floating in between pearly clouds
Do you not see it?
Or…
Do you pretend not to?
Just to keep the last remains of the special bond..

I understand…
No.
I don't understand
I don't understand why you put up with the pain
The pain she causes you without any guilt

She wasn't meant for you
I guess you'll realise it one day
Because it's not what you deserve
You deserve all the love in the world
The real love
And I hope,
One day,
You'll find it
