Harmony walked out of the dark forest into the open night, her different colored eyes glowing vibrantly as she walked. There was a small breeze as she walked and she saw she was alone. She lifted her head to smell the air to see of there were any creatures or horses she could not see. She smelt the faint scent of a herd but she knew it was earlier that day. Her eyes glowed brighter and an evil smile creeper upon her features. She laughed slightly and said

"Time to practice my abilities."

The ends of Harmony's mane and tail turned into fire and her fangs grew longer. A flame was in her eyes and also was a slight spark of her new self. She reared up and landed on her front hooves hard, shaking the ground beneath her. From the ground, grew very large spikes of ice, immediately. She looked at them as she saw they were as tall as her and blinked in amazement. So she could do ice and didn't even notice it. She made a small snort and thought to herself

"Well that was interesting. Not what I was expecting, but interesting."

She then closed her eyes for a minute and hung her head slightly. She took in a few deep breaths and cleared her mind. She opened her eyes and spun around, making fiery blaze behind her. Harmony looked at the fire that was taller than herself and laughed in happiness and in suceeding her self taught magic. She started running as fast as she could in the open place and a line of fire went behind her. She looked back at it and an evil look was in her eyes. She laughed again and ran even fast.

Harmony slowed to a canter, after awhile, and then dug her heels into the ground, making a complete stop. The fire kept going for about 20 more feet and then stopped. The breeze started blowing again and she walked, her head hung slightly and an accomplished look on her features.

The fire she began not only changed her abilities, but changed her.
