The shuttle landed on Jupiter. It took about the hypothesized amount of time, maybe a bit longer. Getting into Jupiter's atmosphere was tough. The stormy climate provided treacherous winds and rain that were hard to fight. Zoro also had struggled to make sure that they at least looked somewhat like Juperian Apalans, not just his Neptunian background. He added the touch of a red sash, a piece of clothing that was commonly worn by the security and spies when they were on Jupiter. It was a sign of nobility to the people, or at least that was what Zoro said.
When they landed in the middle of the town, the opening gates of the shuttle were automatically confronted by guards outside, worried it was an attack. Zoro opened the door, holding Skye forcefully by the arm, pretending he had to force her here and he was a savior. Skye looked around for a brief moment. This planet really was as awful and dreary as Urenda hinted at. The surface was burgundy and dusty, tinged with specks of golden and peach highlights. The gas was overwhelming. Though Skye was Apalan, her human adaptations to the natural gases on Earth was making it harder to breathe than normal. She struggled to make sure she wasn't showing it. The guards spent a long time staring at the two of them, unsure what to do.
"I don't recognize you, when were you sent on this mission to retrieve her?" One of the guards interrogated, motioning his hand towards Skye. Zoro bowed his head, a general sign of politeness on Jupiter when starting a conversation.
"I do apologize, but my retrieving her is classified information that only the head of the council and royals know about. I can tell you that my name is Yago Arkansas, and I just brought back the heir to the throne," Zoro said, pure confidence shining through in his voice. He was actually a pretty good actor. Skye remembered listening to Zoro and Urenda talking about how they'll play this all out. Turns out there actually is someone named Yago Arkansas who was heading out to get Skye but died on the way over. His spacecraft broke down after hitting an asteroid; It is thought that there was a hole inflicted into the craft. The Juperians never knew about this, and one of Neptune's best spies, Palma, was patrolling by when she saw the sight, Zoro pushed Skye forwards roughly and she gave him a very authentic angry glance. Daggers were basically shooting out of her eyes. The guard grabbed Skye, pulling her back.
"Very well, I suppose. Come! Congratulations on your success of getting her back. We shall now lead you back to the Head Territory. My name is Ganda Quem, pleased to meet you," The guard said, pushing Skye forwards. Zoro nodded and started to talk small talk with him, asking about recent events, the stock market and whatnot. This carried on for awhile until they eventually arrived in Head Territory.
"Here we are. Just messaged the Advisor to take the King, Queen, and the other girl to meet their child or whatever families do," Ganda said, yawning. Skye ignored his remarks and stared up at the palace. Though some might call it a 'palace', it was truly a fortress. Stationed on the wall were flashing yellow lights. Helicopter-like spaceships hovered over the area, patrolling for any suspicious activity. Skye gulped. This place honestly did seem to be an awful place to live. It reminded her more of a military base than a home. She loosened her arm from Ganda's possession and stepped forward, peering more at the stones of the building. They were a neon red, dirt splattered across them. She was about to reach forward and touch one of the bricks when she heard a voice from behind her.
"Skyjare?" Someone faintly whispered, their voice full of emotion. Skye turned around to see a tall woman holding hands with a man, equally as tall. The woman wore her hair up high above her head. It was blonde with streaks of crimson in them. Her skin was a peachy yellow. Her eyes were a violet color, piercing as ever. The man looked just like her, only a bit taller. He rocked a moderately sized beard that blew flawlessly in the wind. Skye gaped at them. She assumed them to be her mother and father. Zoro looked back at the three of them, his eyebrows raised. Skyjare... he thought. That's a new one.
