Triangle Chapter Eleven

Kaleb didn't show up for work for the next three days.  It took that long for the swelling in his mouth to go down. He made it back to work, just in time to board a plane to Canada. The boys had another KCON  and Fan-signing to attend and for this trip, they were a little excited.

It's always exciting to visit a  country they've never been to before. Tae is a excited to try Canadian Bacon. In Canada.

They make it to the airport and luckily everyone has there flight tickets as Kaleb holds them in his hand.

He walks up to the boys, greeting them as they exit the van.  He tries his best to just act like everything is normal.

"Everything is on time. Our flight will be leaving shortly. The boys take their tickets but before they could move on, Kaleb stops them.
His speech is still slightly off, but the swelling in his mouth went down dramatically.

"Can I talk to you guys for a minute? I would like to start off by saying I'm sorry.  I feel like-let me rephrase that. I know we had a rough start because of me. Unfortunately it only got worse as time went on. I realize now, that not only was I making this situation uncomfortable for you, but I was also making the other
managers uncomfortable as well. I was being selfish and unprofessional and I was wrong. Way wrong."

Kaleb walks over to Jimin. Who instantly takes a step back. Jungkook who senses a change in Jimin walks over to stand next to him. Wanting to protect him against anything Kaleb might try.

Kaleb notices the shift and remains neutral as he speaks, trying to muster up as much sincerity as he can. "Sorry for my behavior. It was wrong and completely inexcusable. I would understand if you never forgive me."

Jimin lowers his head. He didn't want to think about that moment and hopes no one asks, but the younger just stares at Jimin confused, because he has no idea what Kaleb is talking about. But before he can question it, Kaleb starts talking to him.

Kaleb turns his attention to Jungkook.

"I was wrong for by behavior. I know that even  as a Director the rules apply to me as well. I should be a better example and I wasn't."

The younger barely hears what he's saying because he's still focusing on Jimin who still has his head down.

Kaleb continues his speech as he walks back towards the middle of the group.

"I will work on changing my behavior immediately and fix some of the mistakes I made. I really am sorry. Do you think we could start over again? From the beginning? I would like to invite you and the staff out for dinner after we arrive to Canada. Just to add on to the apology. Cool?"

Namjoon speaks up first.

"Your apology was enough. You don't really have to take us out to eat."

"I want to. It will make me feel better."

Namjoon looks over at the other boys for confirmation. Everyone shakes their head in agreement, except jungkook who grabs Jimin by the hand pulling him away from the group, but Jimin quickly snatches his hand back. Shaking his head no. Silently refusing to go with the younger in favor of staying with the group.

Namjoon goes with the majority and agrees to the dinner.

The boys are so confused by Kalebs sudden change of heart, but if it means he will leave them alone and do his job properly, then they're okay with it.

Jungkook almost immediately notices that Kaleb didn't give any extra vibe towards Jimin. His internal alarm was completely silent. 

'Was he being honest? Did he really mean it?' The younger wasn't for sure about his sincerity at all. He would just have to wait and see. However, if Jimin thinks they're not gonna talk about what Kaleb mentioned earlier he is sadly mistaken.
