"Today is the day!" I say excitedly as I walk side by side with my best friend Yoongi.

"I don't understand why you're so excited. They're just normal people." Yoongi says as he continues to walk.

"They're not just normal people, they're your best friends! I'm excited to see what type of people you hang out with." I say happily.

Yoongi doesn't say anything as we make our way towards the cafe we were meeting them at.

Before I get further into this, I should give you a little back story on Yoongi and I.

So here I go.

Yoongi and I have been best friends since I was 2.

Yoongi is 2 years older than me so when I met him he was 4.

But get this, Yoongi and I were born on the same day.

His just so happened to be two years ahead of me.

So when I turn eighteen he'll be turning twenty.

Crazy that we share a birthday and we're best friends.

Ever since then we've always hung out and were attached at the hip.

Growing up, I never had to worry about guys picking on me because Yoongi was always right there to stick up for me.

Even to this day he still sticks up for me in any situation.

Hell, I can't even get a boyfriend because anytime a guy comes near me this dip-wad scares them away.

It's not all bad though.

Yoongi has a really hot older brother that I may or may not have had a huge crush on since I was younger.

That's for another time though.

Now that you're a bit more filled in, I'll get back to it.

Once Yoongi and I arrive at the cafe I hear someone call his name.

"This way." Yoongi says and I follow behind him like a little duckling.

"Hey Yoongi!" One of the guys says as he motions for him to sit.

"Sit here." Yoongi says as he pulls out the chair next to him for me.

When I sit down I hear one of the guys speak.

"So this is y/n, huh?" He asks, smiling widely.

"It's nice to finally meet you guys." I say as I bow slightly.

"You look so much different than I imagined you to look." The same guy says.

I raise my eyebrows and make a face.

"It's just that when Yoongi describes you I picture a small child." The guy laughs.

"Me too. He always talks about how you're small and you follow him around everywhere." Another one says.

"Hey, I do not." I huff.

"Actually, you do." Yoongi says as he takes a sip of his drink.

I brush off what he said and turn back to the others.

"So then am I better than what you expected or worse?" I ask.

"Definitely better." One of the others says.

"Maybe we should introduce ourselves now. I'm Taehyung." A guy with a boxy smile says.

"I'm Namjoon." Another says.

"I'm Jimin and that's Jungkook, he's the youngest." Another guy says and smiles, his eyes disappearing completely.

"I'm Jin, the oldest. If Yoongi is ever being mean just let me know and I'll put him in his place." He says and I smile and nod, ignoring Yoongi's huff.

"I'm Hoseok." The last guy says, smiling brightly.

My heart did a flip as he spoke.

He was glowing, literally.

They were all pretty hot but this guy definitely caught my eye.

"It's nice to finally meet you guys." I smile as I bow my head.

"It's nice to meet you too. I definitely wasn't expecting you to be this cute." The guy named Taehyung says and I blush a little bit.

"Yeah, you're a lot cuter than I imagined!" Jimin grins.

"Alright, That's enough." Yoongi says as he makes a face.

I smile and lean over, taking a sip of his drink.

No one says anything about it.

They all simply just exchange glances.

Oh and one more thing I forgot to mention,

Yoongi and I had set a list of five rules when we hit the age of sixteen.
