As I was making my rounds so make sure the little ones were finally asleep i walk around the corner is to Olive's,Mine,and Clair's room corner.Ms.Peregrine made it so whenever Clair had a nightmare or a hollow came me and Olive and quickly run in, But i hear something coming from Clair's room,
"Clair stop fussing and go to bed please baby!"I hear Olive say,"I don't wanna!"Clair responds with a angry tone,"How about a lullaby Clair?You want that?" i figure Clair nods and then Olive did something only Emma knew she could do since she hid it from the world including me,
"Hush little Clairy don't say a word your mother is going to buy you a soldier and if that soldier doesn't work I'm going to have to give it to your fatherland if doesn't make him work well Millard will have to go to work, to make him or her the best in all of Peculiar land."
Clair must have fallen asleep for the light in her room went out and Olive began walking to the door where i was at listening to the whole thing.
Olive walked out to see me and once she closed the door to Clair's room she turned to me and asked,"Did you listen to the whole thing?","No."Im a lier.Enoch you know she can tell if you lying."Enoch are you Lying?" she says as she give me the face she normally give Clair whenever she doesn't tell the truth."Yes,No,maybe so?"i say while trying to NOT sound like i am lying"Enoch...""FINE I did."I say while pouting."No more snuggling or cuddling for a month!"She says while pointing a finger at me."Nooooooooo Oli!!!!!!!!!!"I say."Buttttttttttt Enochhhhhhh you shouldn't have lied mister so go sleep on the couch or in Clair's room the choice is yours."
