Going back on time

Dave came back with my phone and threw it to the ground, he smashed it with his shoe, I saw my phone break into pieces and I became angry.

"What did you do that for?" I asked angrily,

"Of course, you might call another person." Dave responded,

"Plus, you don't need that." Dave continued,

I sat there looking at the broken pieces being swept by Dave's broom, he swept it outside the room and locked the door behind him, I sighed and thought of what he could have said at the call.

Claire's POV

An unknown number called me, I answered it worriedly since Jane just disappeared suddenly this day, she was nowhere to be found in her bed, I informed Jake, Amelia, Mark and Steve, they went everywhere to look for her, I spoke to the call.

"Hello? Who is this?" I asked,

"Are you Claire Higgins?" A woman's voice spoke,

"Yes?"

"We need you at the Police Station, we have something for you."

The call ended, I contacted Jake, Amelia, Mark and Steve to go in the Police Station. I arrived in five minutes, Detective Marco was standing there with a woman.

"You're Claire Higgins, right?" The woman asked,

"Yes, you're the woman I spoke earlier, right?" I responded,

She nodded, the three of us went to a room, The woman clicked something, it was a box and a recording played, she paused it first.

"Where are your friends?" Marco asked,

"They're on their way." I responded,

Then I saw Jake with the others pass by the room, I went out the room to call them, we all were at the room and listened at the recording.

"911, what's your emergency?" A woman's voice spoke,

"Hello? Is anyone there?" The woman asked,

"Hello? Sir or Ma'am are you there?"

"Yes, I am kidnapped, please help." A woman's voice spoke,

"Okay, just calm down, what's your name?"

"This is me, Jane Lim."

"Jane Lim? Where are you?"

"I'm at my old house, Dave, the abductor of Claire Higgins was the one who kidnapped me."

"Okay, we'll send Police there immediately."

"Okay."

I was shocked until I heard a man's voice, It probably was Dave.

"Who were you talking to?" Dave asked,

"No one." Jane responded,

"No, I heard you."

We also heard Dave laugh, it took him seconds to finally talk.

"911, I guess you're about to send Police right now." Dave said,

"Dave? Let go of the woman now." The dispatcher said,

"I'm afraid I cannot, but you can save her if you do what I say."

"What is it?"

"You must call Claire and Mark and make them hear this call."

"Why?"

"I am gonna give them a voice message."

The woman infront of me played another recording, I think it was the voicemail, she played it.

"Claire and Mark, you two are Jane's hope, the police will be hear but you must stop them from coming in the house or I will torture Jane, bring Jake also, and I also saw this Jake's friend, umm... what was his name? Oh yeah, Steve, and also bring Claire's babysitter, oh I loved to call her name, Amelia, the name of my lovely wife, we all are gonna meet at the basement, again, I hope you follow what I say, Enjoy!"

We all became shocked and I heard Amelia who was beside me sigh.

"That must be the reason why you two felt awkward when I told you my name, my name was similar to Jane's abductor's wife all along." Amelia said,

"I must stop the Police before they get there." Marco said,

He started dialing on his phone and went out the room, We all sat there shocked, then Jake stood up and went out the room, we followed him.

"Jake, where are you going?" Mark asked,

"To Jane, of course." Jake responded,

"Marco must stop the Police first, and we can go."

"I can't wait any longer, I want to go there already."

"If you're going there already, I'll come with you."

"And me." I cut in,

Amelia and Steve also raised their hands, we all went in Jake's car and drove.

Jane's POV

I sat there alone, I kept looking at the room like I've never been here, I then heared a siren, I smiled because I thought I was now saved, but I heard it disappear from the distance, the smile on my face vanished, I thought I was now saved, then Dave came in the room laughing.

"You really thought you were gonna be saved already, right?" Dave asked,

I ignored him and he left the room again, I started to tear up and my cheeks burned, I let out a deep sigh, I thought of what Dave told me, he might've told the dispatcher that I was just joking, that's why she stopped the Police from coming, I snorted and closed my eyes, I then felt myself sleep.

I woke up in the floor, my hands were free now, I immediately went out the room to find Dave in another room, I just ran outside not looking at my back, I then saw a car like Jake's came in and it hit me, I then felt myself being thrown away.

08:10AM

I woke up being tied still at the chair, it was all a dream, I hoped that would happen, I wished I've never been hit by that car, I suddenly thought that everything I dream happened, I then heard a car from outside, I was scared to who was in it, they could be big guys that might torture me and more, Dave came to my room and smirked, he took the box infront of me and left the room, he came back again but with a little bag, he put it in my head which is why I didn't see or hear anything, he tied a rope on my neck, I then started to feel suffocating, I struggled and I started to faint.
