mr Oluyelo stood starring at his lovely wife, she still looked beautiful even though she was all sweaty feom child birth, he watched as the midwife wiped blood away from her private part, he turned to his new born son smiled broadly, "Joel is his name" Oluyelo said out loud, his wife and the midwife turned and looked at him, "I would have called him Jewel but, that a feminine name joel is for boys and it sounds like jewel" he explained. his wife smiled at him and he blew her a kiss, almost immediately, his best friends wife Ayana walked in with a big wrapped box, she dropped it and hugged Oluyelo " congratulations my dear" she said into his ear them his best friend William walked in with a basket full of provisions. "looks like you doubled your bed time this time around to have gotten a boy" william said and they all laughed "where is your daughter Temi?" Ayana asked Yinka, Olu's wife, " she is playing at the backyard" Olu explained. after Ayana was done with the midwife, Olu put her in bed and allowed her sleep, while he went out with his friends to celebrate the birth of his second child and his first son.
four years later, it was Olu and Yinka who came to celebrate with Williams and Ayana on the birth of their first daughter. " your daughter is soo beautiful," Yinka said, " I named her Bima, which means irreplaceable" Yinka smiled as she stared at Ayana's glorious daughter.
on the day of Bima's traditional naming ceremony, Oluyelo and William announced to their family and well wishers that they betrothed Bima, William's daughter to Joel, Oluyelo's son, and every one was happy,.... An innocent child who didnt even know the difference between her mother and other women was already considered the bride of a four year old boy
