Chapter 7-

I had a repeat dream with Vilí and Vé that night, and woke up the next morning (luckily not in the colossal stomach of Fenrir), going immediately to knock on Odin's door. Fortunately, the heart-attack situation did not happen again. He answered the door, greeting me with the classic, "Good morning! How'd you sleep?" kind of thing. "Fine," I answered, still shaking off the thoughts of the dream. "So what's the plan?" I asked. "I have a suspicion that Loki may be behind this," Odin replied dramatically.

Suddenly, at the mention of Loki's name, I fell over and crumpled against the wall. Odin grabbed for me but missed, and quickly knelt to help me stand. "What's the matter?" He asked, holding me up. "I really don't know..." I said, trying to rethink the moment, but something was stopping me. He brushed me off, and let go of me, but a queezy feeling took over and I fell yet again. Something or someone was messing with me. A god.

I was still recovering, holding an ice pack against a bruise on my neck that had been created when I fell on the ground an hour before, when Henry walked in. "Man, I swear Freya is going to create a riot out there!" He exclaimed, shaking his head. "Good morning! How'd you sleep?" I said, mimicking Odin. He shot me a look of disgust. "Fine, everything was fine,"  Henry said, putting down Thor's hammer, which he had been studying all night. He still gazed at it curiously. "You do know, Henry, that only special people can wield that hammer," Odin said, looking at Henry like he was a god. (Wait, sorry, spoilers!)

"It's really fascinating," Odin continued, "No mortal I know of can pick it up, hardly even budge it." "So I'm special!" Henry replied casually, putting on that goofy smile of his, "Great!" There was a moment of silence as the clock struck 12:00. "Well, what do you say? Should we hit the road again?" I asked Odin. "Sounds good," He said, waving us out the door. Henry and I walked outside, and found what looked like a group of hippo/llamas chewing up Odin's car.

"Uhh...Odin!" Henry shouted. Odin rushed out the door, immediately stopping to laugh. "Well, that car did last for a while," He said, "most of them don't last 1000 years." "What are they?" I asked, pointing at the creatures. "No one really knows.  They were here before us, before Ragnarok. Unfortunately, unlike us gods, these creatures are not as used to Electronics, Vehicles, or even the- slightly intensified with words- magic of indoor plumbing."

Odin lead us to a car dealership in the outskirts of Downtown Asgard, where we rented a brand new Maserati. Odin offered a golden scepter to the guy at the desk, who happily accepted it, giving us the keys to the beast. "Now that's a car! I whooped, "Shotgun!" I shouted, hopping in the front seat.  At long last, we sped off, with our minds clear of worries.
