Albino In Disguise

Do you ever feel different? Like you've just never clicked with anyone? Well, that's my whole life in a nutshell. You see, I'm not normal. Normal people aren't threatening the entire existence of the human race, or start nuclear wars. Normal people gossip with their friends or go shopping, or whatever.

Yeah. I'm anything but normal, if you didn't catch that already.

In Jackville, regular people have brown, green or blue eyes, but I have red. Regular people have blonde, brown, black, or red hair, but I have pure white.

Why am I this way? I wish i could figure it out. My parents both have brown hair, and my brother has sandy blonde. They all have green eyes also. Where do I come in?! Where did I come from?!

When I was born, every one was surprised by my blondness. My hair was white, and everybody feared I was an albino. Fortunately, my mom had a plan, for she feared my life if I was an albino.

My mom does a good job at keeping my albinoness a secret by making constant appointments every week or so at a secret underground salon that no one knows about, except for the costumes and workers.

Only a few lucky people (like me, but I seriously doubt there are any other albinos in the screwed up town) are allowed in. to get in, you have to have the secret passcode that changes everyday to ensure the security of the salon.

Basically, that's my life.

Well, and practicing for the Miss Jackville Pageant, which I so am not looking forward to.

My mom won the Miss Jackville Pageant, my moms' mom won, and now, she expects me to win it also to keep the record going on. Uh, no. I hate dressed and stuff like that.

It's not like I have a choice. If I don't win, she wil disown me. Just trust me on this. If anyone upsets my mom, she makes sure they pay for it.

After all, she is the head of the Jackville Council and head of the Miss Jackville Pageant.

Apparently, I have no excuse not to be in it. Whoop di do!!! Ugh. Why can't I just be a normal girl?
