*Unknown P.O.V*

                I watched behind the shadows as she exits the mundane's home. Jealousy hits me as she walks into broad daylight. Don't worry. Not long now I will soon posses this ability.

              I watched as she enters the house she has been walking into for the past 18 years. 18 years is too long for my master and he has waited long enough. I saw her bedroom light switch on and turned off again after 2 hours. She asleep. Now that it was dark I could roam the streets freely.

*The next day*

*Hailey P.O.V*

            I woke up and did my usual morning routine. I decided to dress nice. I wore a white crop top and a pair of jean shorts. I went downstairs and gobbled down my breakfast slipped on my vans and I was off. I was walking when my phone vibrated.

Unknown: Hi

Me: Hi? Who is this?

Unknown: It's me Alex.:)

Me: Oh okay. Whatcha want?

I quickly added him as a contact and wrote Alex:) as the name.

Alex:): Do you need a ride to school?

Me: Nah I'm already here. :)

Alex:): Whoa thats fast :)

Me: hahaha I'll see you in French ;)

I shut my phone and entered the hallways. I was the only one as I came super early.

               I spotted someone in the hallway. Someone that was never supposed to be seen again. I walked up to him and he turned to meet my gaze. "Hello there Hailey," he said innocently. I rolled my eyes "Why are you here Jacob?" I asked. He pouted "What? Can't I see my lil' sis?" I rolled my eyes again.

               "Spill," I said staring into his blue eyes. "Fine. I was appointed to guard you. You are in danger Hailey. I am not letting anyone do anything to you," he said and looked at me. My expression softened. "Jacob I don't need your protection.  I'm capable on my own," I said. He ran his hand through his jet black hair. "Hailey we both know that the person after you is capable of a lot and we don't know what we're up against, " he said softly. "Rumors have been going around that someone in this school is a vampire. A pureblood. But he doesn't know he is one. And we expect to keep it that way," he said and my mouth gaped as he mentioned another pureblood. "Who is it?" I asked still horrified. "Alexander Ronald Rivers,"
