Bruce tapped his pen impatiently as he filled out his paperwork. "Master Bruce, this is why I had suggested doing this paperwork earlier so you didn't have to do it later," Alfred was right. Bruce's head hit the table, groaning loudly. "I just don't understand how or why I have so much paperwork," Bruce practically complained. "Just fill it all out and we can see how far you can get from there," Alfred closed the door lightly. Letting Bruce do his work.

Alfred sighed from the other side of Bruce's door. Alfred was becoming concerned at one point. He was thinking for Bruce actually. What was Joker going to do? Alfred was always skeptical of Joker when he first saw him. He knew Joker had a great mind, Joker wanted Bruce to work with him. Possibly to take over Gotham together, soon enough Bruce finally got the hint that it was time to end that "friendship". And boy, Joker was mad. Still to this day, Joker is still trying to get back at Batman. Bruce didn't know what to think when he first became Batman and he had to fight against Joker, his old friend.. Joker soon became obsessed with Batman, making sure- one day, he would get back at him. Batman didn't like to fight with Joker for the first few times, it broke his heart seeing his friend being corrupted like this. No one wants to see their friends being handed over to the Devils clutches. Did Joker choose this way of living? Bruce would think that Joker just made this his choice. Or maybe it was something more complicated, Joker just was too far away for Batman to save him. Batman was sad for the loss of his old friend, but now it's gotten easier; To fight the Joker. The Joker has gotten lazy, he doesn't care if he even gets caught anymore. Bruce frowned at that thought, not that Bruce wanted Joker to fight him. It was his job, and no one really 'likes' their job.

----------
Joker lied on the floor, his feet held high. He was still thinking about his plan, he was thinking how he should even capture Batman. Was it going to be easy or hard? Most likely hard, but who knows? Maybe Joker might have some luck. Joker got back up on his feet, he looked down at himself. Seeing his well-clothed self. Well he looked "okay". Joker looked behind him at a messy table, his notes and plans all pinned on a board above it. Right there he could think of his plan. Joker wandered over at the worn down table. This is where his greatest ideas come to life. Metaphorically speaking. I could possibly invite Batsy to a rooftop, or somewhere in a alleyway. Then, I could shoot him up with a drug. It will only make him pass out! Yes! I'm a genius! Joker applauded himself.

----------
Bruce could feel himself getting jittery. He had some tearing feeling at his gut. He couldn't focus on any more paperwork. He needed to go out and stretch. But he knew it was his duty to finish this in time. "Don't worry master Bruce, I'll handle it. Why don't you just take a walk. You haven't gone outside for a while," "But Alfred I-" Alfred cut his sentence off by shoving the stressed vigilante out the door. He sighed, he hadn't felt the outdoor breeze in a long time. He could feel the gusted wind rustling his hair. It felt odd going out when he didn't have his suit on. It was as if he were naked. Bruce could see his residential mailbox, a note clipped to it. That was obscure, the mail carrier never clipped our mail onto the outside of the mailbox.. Bruce's mind itched to know what was inside that envelope. He scurried over to the letterbox. Seeing that the envelope had distinctive handwriting. Bruce just went along with it, opening the note up seeing who it could of came from.

Dear Bats, I see that our cruel ways with each other could have some changes. I have to agree, it is rather boring fighting with you now. It's just the same thing over and over again. You hit me and then I fall off something, you save me and then put me in Arkham.. But this year it changes Bats, meet me at Arkham bridge. Tonight, maybe around 6:30 so we can have a little chat.

-Love, Joker

Bruce was infuriated, he didn't know what to say or do. Should he really go to Arkham bridge and meet up with him? Or was it too risky? Could it be a trap? Possibly.. Batman wasn't the kind of bat that would wuss out, and besides it was his job. His duty. No matter what kind of sick tricks the Joker would play on him; Batman would just play along. Joker was perverted in every way possible. Bruce hated him, Batman hated him. It was all the same. Batman would beat the shit out of the Joker and take him to Arkham. So for him, it'd be easier this time. Joker did say he wanted to meet on Arkham bridge. So, the walk wouldn't be so extended. Bruce just wanted to punch him right between the eyes. Beating him senselessly.

It was getting foggy out, the clouds were crowding everything. Bruce could feel it coming on, it was about to rain. It was going to be a stormy night, thunder and all. Bruce sighed heavily and waited for the rain to drip down. He could actually see it, he put his arm out. Yup, it was definitely raining. Bruce looked over at two rocks crowing up water between them, the water finally breaking free. Moistening the creaks of cement. The door rattled, it spooked Bruce only for a second. "Master Bruce, coming in any moment now I presume? It is getting wet," "I can see that, Alfred," Bruce turned to see his butler. They both got inside. Bruce shivered. He was a nice fine gentleman for sure. Even though Alfred did get on his nerves at times; Alfred was still there for Bruce. "I have to get ready," "for what, may I ask?" Alfred raised an eyebrow. "Work," he studied his face and hurried with his things clutched in his hands. "What kind of work?" "Joker, the Joker wants me to meet him on Arkham bridge. I'm not sure why, but I am positive he's going to get a beat down," Alfred chuckled at that.

Bruce smiled. "I'm glad you think that it's funny," Bruce shook his head. "But I gotta be there at 6 or so," Bruce hurried into his room. Alfred following after him. "But it's only 4, you still have t-" before he could finish Bruce shut the door, cutting him off. "Alright," Alfred's voice emitted from the door. "I'll leave you alone," and with that, Alfred walked off.
