Vigilante. Yeah thats me!

Chapter 1.

Nick's P.O.V.
Man school sucks... I'm not only a dork I don't even have a girlfriend. I have a couple friends but... Still it would be nice to at least have some respect. As I'm thinking this I get hit by my usual bully Ego Martin. He pushes me into my locker and shouts at me "Hey! Nicky boy! Where's my money you owe me, huh?!" He shouts as I remember the bet a couple days ago. That I would get a date for prom. I gulped nervously at him as I said "I-I don't have it at the moment... P-Plus I still have time to ask a gi-" I then get interrupted by a punch to the gut, I then hold my gut in pain as he let's go of me. "You better give it to me! Or else!" He says as he begins to walk off. Though the funny part is, that punch was weak. I made sure to activate my abilities. But having them is awesome if I do say so myself! With a ton of life threatening moments, I've been able to control a thing I like to call "Human desperation". I still can't get over it. I then get to class as I sit down in my usual seat and begin to write down all my enhanced senses and abilities. As I begin to write down some of them, such as "Enhanced strength, speed, and agility. Heightened smell and sight. Heightened hearing, touch and taste." Though in my opinion taste is kinda lame. As I think about that I see the girl I'm planning on asking out walking into the classroom. Her name is Linda Rose. But if I'm being real here, I wouldn't be able to tell the difference between her and a rose. Though I would say she's better than any rose, that anyone could find. She has long red hair and a nice tan to her. And her hair is completely red, like it's not dyed or anything... It's just there. And I find it cute. Now I know I sound like a creep about to say this but um... She has on a tight skirt and her shirt tucked under her skirt as it's a fairly short skirt. She even has leggings! What more could you ask from a hot sophomore? But besides that I see her walk in and sit down all fancy like as she begins to take notes. I then begin to googly eye her as the teacher comes up to me and smacks my desk with a ruler and says "Mr. Klyde! Are you taking notes or are you just staring into outerspace?!" She asks. I then take out my notebook and flip to a different page that doesn't show my abilities. I begin to write the notes silently as the teacher just sits back in her chair and starts to use her iPhone X. Which I never got the appeal of. Why would you get a phone without a home button? It's so much more difficult without one. But besides that I take the science notes as I then notice Linda looking over at me as she smiles. Well I don't know about you guys but, I think I'm a pretty handsome guy. I got light brown hair that swerves to the side, a handsome face, but it's also a nerdy face with a good tan to me. I also have a pretty well build in terms of a sophomore. I'm also one of the tallest in my grade. I'm about 5'10 and Linda I think is 5'3. Like I have pretty good biceps and abs under my shirt. But back to the whole looking thing. I notice her looking at me and I blush a tint red, but not a bright one. I wave at her nervously like a dork as she giggles and continues to take her notes. I smile as I think I may actually have a chance with Linda Rose. But sadly she's one of the most popular girls in the school because of how good looking she is. She also has an amazing personality. And how do I know this? Cause I was her tutor for an entire year, last year. She's really nice though. But almost all the boys like her. Including Ego... Sadly. I then continue to write my notes.

The bell rings for us students go to lunch before our last period of the day. The teachers have lunch but they do it after school, since it's always to loud in the cafeteria and they can't eat in there classrooms. I grab my book bag and walk out as I then see my best friend Alexander walking by. I go over to him and we do our usual fist bump as my other best friend Luiggi comes behind us both and scares us. Just then, you could see one of my friends Pedro talking to a bunch of girls as he cracks jokes to them but... They were also kind of dirty. That's Pedro for you. So Pedro sees us as he then looks at me. He knows I've had a crush on Linda for a long time, considering he's my bestest friend of them all. He then has Linda next to him as he then whispers something into her ear as he stares at me. She giggles and then looks at me with her soft blue eyes. I look at her with my chocolate brown eyes. Yup I just used chocolate brown. Sadly I can't eat them though. But anyways back on topic she looks at me as she does a silent wink as she bites her lip at me. My face turns a hot red as it also looks like I'm a tomato. Now I tell Pedro everything, y'know? That's kinda what us guys do at times. And I've told him my crush, my muscle size and just about anything. Including my um... My I guess you could say "banana" size. Supposedly he told me it's big but I don't know what's considered big or not. But besides that my face turns red as I then the other way to my usual table as I sit there and take out my lunch. Then Pedro sits down with us as he has his usual leather jacket and hair all spiked up with gel. Luiggi takes out his usual pasta, Alexander takes out two slices of chocolate cake and a bag of trail mix. Now Alexander is a big guy. And by big I mean like a ball big, y'know? Luiggi is kinda Italian so pasta is kinda his thing. Pedro takes out his usual burrito with rice and beans, since well. He's Mexican. Now I'm Hispanic but according to the them I don't look it. Which is fine by me but I just don't want to look like a really pale guy or something. I take out my salami sandwich with spinach and lettuce and begin to eat it, but I can't help the feeling I'm being watched. Turns out my instincts were right. Linda was talking about me, with her friends which is so odd. Like I would see her glance at me and then say something about me to her friends. How do I know that? Because I constantly heard my name "Nick~". So that's a thing. Luiggi and Alexander are having their own conversation as Pedro nudges my arm and says "Bro, I think she likes you.". I then put my sandwich down and ask with a mouthful. "What makes you say that?". "Bro I told her about your muscles bro. She's impressed. She's even been checking out your facial features and stuff like that. At least that's what she told me." He says with a shrug. Now Pedro is the type of guy who is the schools Daredevil and I'm glad I have him as a friend. He's like the best wingman. "Bro go ask her to prom and do a little salsa with her over there. You know man? Maybe take her to your house and, Netflix and chill." He says  as he emphasizes the"chill" part as he wiggles his eyes brows as my face turns a bright red. I ask him in a whiney voice "Do I have to...?...". "Bro. Yes you do. She obviously likes you bro now just do it!" He says as he pushes me slightly. I get up and go to her as I then feel a push. Turns out that push did something good. Something I didn't even expect.
