A child in your eyes

Chapter 1

Vlad POV
I just can't stop thinking about him. He looked so exhausted when we fought. I went easy on him, I didn't want to hurt him at all but I had to. He needs to be my enemy. He shouldn't be fighting ghosts he's 14. Ugh he's too young for this. I know that this isn't professional but I can't help it. I feel like he's my son and I need to protect him. But I can't, this is the only way.

Danny POV
I've been fighting ghost for days and I'm fighting with Vlad now and it's like he's concerned about me and he going super easy on me and I'm kind of relieved. I got him pretty quick and went back home. Once I changed back I got a call from Sam and she was going on and on how happy she was with Tucker and how I was okay with their relationship. When she was finally done talking it was about midnight and she was tired. I said bye and went bed.

The next day
Danny POV
I woke up to my alarm and went downstairs see Jazz eating breakfast and I didn't want to have breakfast so I told my parents that I'd eat at school. They didn't really care because they didn't make me any anyway. They never really cared about me that much because they liked Jazz better. When I was leaving I heard my mom say she had something on phantom but I brushed it off, if she's never found out before why would she now right? So I went to school.

Dash was there waiting for me. I tried to get past them but they blocked my path and Dash pushed me down. Me staying up late and not eating breakfast made me fall down on my butt. Dash laughed at me and kicked me hard in the face. They had enough and went to class. I laid there for a minute but got up and trudged to class. Mr. Lancer didn't seem to notice my bloody lip so it was fine for the time being. Mr. Lancer left during the bit of study hall we had. When he came back he looked nervous to say the least. He looked at me and said to come to his office. When I arrive my parents were there and I was getting anxious.

"Um, what's going on?" I said. My parents looked at me.

My dad said, "Danny you've been expelled."

"What, why?" I said.

"Mr. Lancer said you've been late to class have been failing most of them and you've got in trouble with a boy named Dash." My mom said.

They're surprisingly calm and I know that I have not been failing classes and the only time I was late was today. I also know that if I argue with them they will be super mad.  

All I said was, "Oh."

Mom and dad brought me home and they seemed pretty happy with me being expelled from school. They say they want to talk and brought me to the living room and we all sat down. My mom started.

"Danny we know your secret."
