It's a pain, working with him, but then it's a pain working with anyone and at least Ghiaccio's too busy screeching about someone else's taste in shoes to give Melone the disgusted look that everyone gives when Baby Face gets to work. Ghiaccio doesn't imply anything about the bruise blooming under Melone's uncovered eye, makes no judgment as to whether he deserves it or otherwise, because Ghiaccio has gone half-blind with rage over some other inane detail. The noise irritates Baby Face for a bit, but Baby Face grows out of the phase rather quickly. Melone gets used to it as well. He might, if pressed, even confess to having grown fond of Ghiaccio's chatter.
