No facial expression, no life in her eyes. She hated me. It must have just been the drunk subconscious and not her. I could always see her again, but I would never see her again. I would never see the life in her eyes that brought me such bliss. Because I lost her. Lost her in my own selfishness.

She looked up, about to speak.

"Okay"

JACE'S POV

" O-oka-"

Within seconds, she was hugging me like she hadn't seen me in years.

I was confused. In what world does such an angry girlfriend forgive you so easily.

I wanted so badly to push her off and question her, but my heart was beating too fast for me to move and if I pushed her off, she might get mad and never even hug me again.

After the hug had gone on so long that even she was getting tired, she sat up and calmly walked back to her seat across from me. She's back. The same slightly psycho and unpredictable Lynn.

" I want to be honest with you. It was so hard for me not to take you back this past while." she breathed

" Then why didn't you?"

" I'm a very soft person. I wasn't actually angry all those times I attacked you. I didn't know it then, but I just needed a reason to get away and I realized it was because I had already forgiven you a long time ago," she started getting comfy in her seat

" It started with me thinking of it simply me leaving you because of my anger. Then I became conscious of me forgiving you too easily and you thinking getting me to come back wasn't a problem. Then I finally realized I wasn't ever going to leave if I stayed because I love you too much. So don't mess up again, I can't ever leave now." she finished, laughing.

I was still in disbelief. I had her back, but her acting so normal......didn't seem normal. I knew she was hurting and I knew it was still hard for her to see me. But she wasn't the kind of person to reveal that so easily, so I decided to just go along with it for as long as she needed

It was quiet for some time until her phone started ringing from inside. We stood up together and went inside.

Not even a second after she picked it up, it started sparking, and she dropped it running over to me. I dragged her to the door and slammed it behind us. A loud bang sounded from the apartment and when we went back inside, we saw a huge area of the living room had been charred and furniture was destroyed. It was a small bomb.

I got a text and ignoring her protests, opened it.
