~Tsuki's POV~

Stay Alive.

That was the only thing on our minds. My parents and I were running down the halls of the E.R. My father saw a doctor and held onto his shoulders.

"Where is he? Where's my son!?", my father cried.

"Mr. Katzumi, come with me. He arrived half an hour ago he lost a lot of blood on the way", said the doctor as he led my father away.

"Is he alive!?", I asked.

"Yes but you have to understand, the crash rendered him paralyzed from the collarbone down", the doctor answered.

"Can we see him please!?", my mother screamed as she hugged me tightly.

The doctor beckoned us to follow. We ran after them and reached a room to see my father run to my paralyzed brother.

"Kido", my father uttered.

"Dad, I couldn't stop it", Kido coughed. "I made the turn, but... but... I lost control."

"Sh... I know, I know."

My mother and I ran to their side and cried.

"Mom, Tsu", Kido said weakly.

"My son", Mom whispered.

"Onii-chan, you idiot!", I cried.

"I know, Tsu but it was my choice."

He lay there, covered in scars and hooked up to machines and IVs. His lavender hair was matted and stuck to his forehead with sweat as its glue.

"We'll fix this, Kido. We promise, your mother and I will make sure that you will walk again", said my father.

"Shiro, we have the body ready but what if it turns out like Seira's patient?", my mother asked.

"Arisa it will work, everything went smoothly. Besides, I have Tsuki copying Kido's memories and consciousness onto a chip if we need to make an android", my father reasoned as he gestured towards me.

~Day of the procedure~

~Third person POV~

The surgery was in full effect, the head was attached to the body with no hassle. Dr. Katzumi just needed to add the chip into the brain of the android. Kido's head didn't survive the first procedure so it was plan B.

"Alright, just one little incision and we're done", said Dr. Katzumi as he applied the scalpel to the back of the ear. "Chip."

The surgeon next to him opened the container and placed the chip carefully into the android's brain.

"There we go, now let's close it up", said Dr. Katzumi.

They then stitch up the incision and step back.

"It's done Dr. Katsumi", said the surgeon.

"Not yet, we need a coil", said the doctor as he placed the coil in the android's chest. "It's done."

~months later~

~Kido's POV~

I woke up in a different hospital... Wait, what? I could have sworn I was... I shot up out of bed I wasn't able to do that either, Doc said I'd never move anything other than my head and neck. What happened!?

"ONII-CHAAAAAN!!!!", I heard the unmistakable voice of Tsuki as she ran towards me.

She's changed... Since when was her hair that long?

"You're up! I guess the surgery worked", she smirked.

"What surgery?", I inquired.

"You probably don't remember, but Mom and Dad tried the body transplant surgery."

"I remember that."

"Well, it failed and you didn't make it... well the organic you didn't."

"WHAT!?"

"Well I downloaded a copy of your memories and consciousness onto a chip and... long story short, you're an android. Hooray!"

She went on to detail on how I am military grade and I can lift 1,000,000lbs. This is pretty cool! But I didn't see Mom or Dad.

"Tsu, where are Mom and Dad?", I asked.

"Oh, I figured you'd ask that", she said as her facial expression turned mournful. "Um, I don't know how to tell you Onii-Chan... but Mom and Dad... they died."

"How?"

"Some guys from the DAB, they killed Seira Yurizaki and then they went after Mom and Dad. I hid under your bed and watched it happen."

I reached over and hugged her close, my little sister... only 19, all alone. Well not anymore!

"Tsuki, it's ok. You have me, Tsu. Once I get out of here, we'll be ok", I said reassuringly.

"Okay. I love you, ya tin can", she said.

"Shut up, this tin can could crush you. But I love you too. Did Mom or Dad say anything before they... you know?"

"'Follow the illegal coils' I guess we are supposed to be collectors."

"Okay, let's become collectors!"
