I have often wondered what it would be like to escape the world that I was raised in. To be a part of a foreign world with different customs and traditions, different from my own. Would I have grown to be a different person from who I am now or would I be the same fifteen year old with social anxiety when meeting people for the first time. Dreaming of the different possibilities from different upbringings is one of my hobbies, because of my family living in a mansion in the countryside of Texas. The closest town is over 200 miles away, which means that growing up, the only people I have ever really interacted with is my parents and my siblings and of course the people who work on the land for my dad. The 5,000 acre lot has been passed down on my dad's side for the last four generations and me being the eldest means that one day it will be passed down to me. There are quite a couple buildings throughout the landscape that we own, there is our house that is three stories high that my family, Rachel and Tiff and my parents Sarah and Drew and I, live in. We each have our own bedroom, my parents don't sleep in the same room because my dad works days and my mom works at nights but we still all get to eat dinner together every night before mom has to go to work. I'm not really sure what my parents do they said they would tell me when I'm older but I kind of just forget to ask nowadays. My sisters Rachel and Tiff are 12, three years younger than me. The twins are scarily alike, the only differences is that Tiff is two inches taller than Rachel and Rachel is two minutes older than Tiff, which tends to be the center of most of their fights. The other buildings on the land are houses for the landscaper and his wife, and the Veterinarian's family.

The landscaper that takes care of the yard and maintaining the fences on the 5,000 acres of land is named James. He is a slim man who is just over 6'2 and under 30 years old, who happens to be balding. I have never seen him without his hat because of that. He is married to Jenna who comes to the house during the day to watch me and my sisters when Mom is sleeping. She is almost like a second mom to me. She homeschools my sisters and I because Mom thinks it's important for us to be educated about what is going on outside of Texas. We are pretty sheltered from the outside world. I haven't figured out why, but I trust my parents enough to not ask too many questions. Jenna and James never had any kids but if they did, the babies would have been gorgeous. Jenna with her honey blond hair that fell to her shoulders, baby blue eyes, and 5'10 frame made her look like one of those models from moms old magazines. James was attractive too, even with the hair loss. With his vibrant green eyes and the dark brown hair he had left on the sides of his head connected with the beard the he grows on his face which makes him ruggedly handsome at least that what Jenna says. It's a shame that Jenna and James could never have kids due to some issue Jenna had when she was in college, something about a cyst on both her ovaries not really sure what that has to do with babies, but I know not to ask because it makes Jenna upset.

The other people living on the grounds was the Veterinarian, Ashely and her husband Roger with their two kids who are Dallas and Austin. Ashely had moved to work on Dad's land when she married Roger and they having been living here ever since. Mostly because my Dad's and Roger's families go way back for the last three generations. Ashely and Roger are very polite and visit the house from time to time. Roger usually comes over on Sundays to watch Football with dad in his study almost every weekend. When Dallas was born that was the only Sunday that he missed in 17 years, which was some big deal for some reason but I don't understand why it was just a football game. Luckily, Austin was born on a Monday so it didn't affect the football games. There is a two year age gap between Dallas and his brother with Austin being 15 and Dallas just turning 17. Ashely looks younger than she is, if you didn't know any better you would say she was in her late twenties, not her early forties with her crimson hair and baby blue eyes. It would make most men stop in their tracks which is what happened to Roger. He got one look at her and knew that she was it, the one that he was going to spend the rest of his life with. Luckily for him Ashely felt the same way for him. When she noticed Roger at his staggering 6'4 height with ginger hair and green eyes she couldn't help but be interested in his innocent features and slight dimple on his left cheek. Roger is comically taller than Ashely with her being 5'1 in all her glory, she doesn't seem to be bothered by the height difference since she refuses to wear high heels. Dallas is the perfect balance between his parents, with his father's height and dimple and his mother's blue eyes and natural hair color of brown. While Austin is a miniature version of his father coming in at just barely 5'6, there is no denying that Austin is Roger's son, with the red hair and dimple to match.
