I Never Knew You: A Gumlee story

Night time

Gumball's POV:

I turn off the lamp and look in Marshall's direction. His nose is wrinkled and he is looking at the window. I realise that he can not bear the sunlight that will come in the morning.

I close the curtains and I look back at him. He lays down and covers his face with his covers. "Aren't you going to change?" I say. "I changed yesterday." He mumbles before turning towards the wall. 'Gross' i think, going into the restroom to change. Just as i finish brushing my teeth, I hear snoring. Great.

I didn't know he would snore so loud. I dont care. I'll just listen to my sleep meditation with headphones. I lay down for sleep, smoothing the covers over me so that they look perfect. I fluff my pillow and plug in my phone inserting my headphones as I drift quickly into sleep.

Marshall's POV:

Finally Gumboy is asleep. Maybe he actually believed my fake snoring. I reach into the duffel bag that I brought, still leaving it slunched againsed the wall. I change into gym shorts and a tank top, then I brush my teeth. I kinda dont want to go into his bathroom so I simply swallow the toothpaste.

Gummy is sleeping peacfully. One of his earbuds fell out earlier so I can faintly hear his sleep sound thingy. He listens to things extremely loud, im glad he hasn't had damage to his ears yet. I'm not sure whether I should, but I creep over to his phone and turn down the volume.

The room is silent now, and although I am tired i do not want to go to bed. I go on my phone and do whatever any normal person would.. Stalk his social media. Turns out he's pretty good at taking selfies but they're so innocent. I cover my mouth to stop from laughing at 3 in the morning.

I let out a big yawn. I wonder what he's dreaming about because he is smiling like a maniac. I look at the table that was previously between us because if I remember correctly, there's still cherries on it. I have a bit of a snack and finally go to bed. Saturday will be tomorrow, and I dreamt of what it could hold
