(6 years later)

A old man with grey hair and lavender eyes that were sharp like a watching eagle's, walked through the deep snow holding two large bags full of tools and other things.

"Miyuki-Chan!! Where are you? What are you up to now?"

A little girl about 6 years old ran over to the old man. The little girl was breath taking. She had twin pony tails that were very long and almost reached the ground. Her hair was pure white like the snow that she played in. She had deep blue eyes like the sky when the snow fell from it. She had a slightly tanned skin and red blush on her cheeks. She had a choppy bang that slightly covered part of her left eye and the small heart shaped beauty mark under it. She also had a beautiful smile that seemed to light up the world. Her young innocence made you want to adore her and take her in all at once.

"I'm right here Haru-Jiisan." He smiled at her.

"Miyuki-Chan I need you to go to Hana's house and let her know that her husband can come and pick up the tools now." She nodded and then ran off to another cottage.

She knocked on the door and a Young woman opened it. She had long light brown hair that was smooth and flowed perfectly down her back to her knees, and purple eyes that were sharp like the old mans. She glowed in happiness and radiance. She had that glow every first time mommy experiences when going through her pregnancy. She was expecting. She was showing enough for you to just make it out why she must have been smiling so hard.

"Hello ImotoChan, Happy birthday! Did my father send you?" Miyuki smiled and nodded.

"Thank you, And yes, Haru-Jiisan sent me to tell you that Tamotsu-Tan can get his tools now." Hana nodded.

"Thank you ImotoChan and tell my father he will be over soon after work." Miyuki nodded and ran back towards the farm cottage.

On her way back Miyuki thought of Hana and her family.

Ane would make a great mommy.

Miyuki thought. But it didn't take long before she regretted that thought.

Lately she had been thinking of her parents. She had to have some, right? Everyone else did so why was she different?
The whole village had always treated her wonderfully and even called her the "honorable child". But she never knew exactly why. She had so many questions that it kept her up at nights some times. She wondered about her powers as well.

Why was she so different from everyone?

She came inside the cottage and went to the living room. The old man named Haru was there fixing the fire.

"Hey Miyuki-Chan your back already?"

Miyuki nodded and then stood next to Haru and watched the dancing flames closely. But Miyuki had gave herself a mission that she was dedicated to complete.

"Yes. She said that Tamotsu-Tan will be over after work." Haru nodded still messing with the fire.

Now or never. Miyuki thought.

"Haru-Jiisan, Why don't I have parents?" Haru stopped.

He sat up. He looked at Miyuki with a weary smile. He knew she would ask him one day. He thought of how much she must've let that question brew. He prepared himself to give her the truth easily. He sat down on the floor and Miyuki sat next to him.

"Well. I'm not completely sure why, But I found you when you were just a tiny baby. You were a newborn by the looks of it, that's why today is your birthday. "
Haru was nervous as he spoke. He wanted to answer all possible questions without hurting the innocent little girl he came to adore.

"I woke up that morning and went into my barn and there you were wrapped in a white blanket. You were crying. I couldn't find anyone or any trace of anyone that could have been your parents. Some people think that you never had parents, They say that a Snow goddess gave you to us and you were born and made from the snow. I'm not sure if that's true but I cant say I don't believe it. But I brought you to the village people and we decided to take you in. And you were just so tiny, cute and helpless we couldn't help but want to help you. "Miyuki giggled at the semi complement. But she listened to Haru intensely.

"Since you had no name we all came up with Miyuki, meaning 'Beautiful Snow' since you are as beautiful as the snow and the child born from the snow. We also decided on Miyuki because its simular to our princess's name. But we got you a home to live in, and I raised you with a bit of help from the village. But I never adopted you because I'm too old to fully take care of you. But maybe one day you will have a real family and forget about a old man like me."

Miyuki smiled she was happy to be loved by the village and she liked to think about how she was created by the snow. She believed that a snow Goddess did make her and she was created from the snow. That made sense because her hair WAS as white as snow and her eyes DID look like the snow fall sky. And she DID have strange powers of which she told no one about. Powers that allowed her to control the snow and ice.

Besides she loved the snow. She loved how it felt, and how it looked so beautiful. But besides the snow she loved Old man Haru. She called him Haru-Jiisan because she saw him as her grandfather. He took care of her the most and she loved him very much.

"No way Haru-Jiisan!! I could never forget you!" The old man smiled.

"Thank you Miyuki-Chan, but I have a gift for you." Miyuki's eyes lit up.

"Really!!! What is it?" He smiled again.

He stood up and so did Miyuki. Haru went into one of his bags and pulled out a small stuffed all white penguin. And after he placed it into the child's hands she squeezed it tightly. Her and his smile spread from ear to ear. Miyuki loved her gift dearly.

"Oh thank you Haru-Jiisan!! I'll name him Mr.Snowman!! He's just what I've been wanting!! How did you know!?" She side glanced the old mans way and lifted a eyebrow.

"I saw you staring at it in the toy shop window. But c'mon you have another gift waiting."

"Really? From who??" The snow kissed little girl tilted her head in wonder.

"The villagers got together and we all pitched in, but its a surprise." Haru said while wrapping a blindfold around her eyes.

Miyuki became jumpy from the anticipation and excitement. Haru lead the little girl to the town center.
He took off the fold slowly as Miyuki squeezed 'Mr.Snowman'.

Once the blindfold came off Miyuki's eyes landed on a small crowd of villager and a cake that read 'Happy Birthday Miyuki!'. And next to the cake stood Hana holding a Miyuki sized kunoichi outfit. Miyuki jumped up in down in joy and excitement.

"Really!!! Am I going to be a Kunochi!!?" Hana laughed and handed her the outfit.

"Yes. We enrolled you in the academy. You will start in one week. You always said you wanted to be a Ninja so I thought why not? Do you like the outfit?" Haru asked.

Miyuki hugged Haru and smiled. "I love it!! Thank you everyone. This is the best birthday ever!! I'll be right back, I'm going to try it on."

She ran into the near by bakery and went into the bathroom; she quikly put on the outfit. She came out wearing the outfit. She adored it! It had Black leggings with a small royal blue skirt. It had the snow village symbol on it. Then it had a black turtle neck with long sleves and fur at the wrist.

She ran out the shop and back to the villagers. "Thank you, Thank you, thank you everybody!!" She jumped up and down.

"You're welcome honorable child."
