It had been hours since they left the tall shiny building that was the Avengers tower and headed out, Bruce had gone back a while ago and Cap could fully understand why. If he got drunk and just so happened to get in a bar fight?... well. That wouldn't end well for anyone.

Meanwhile, Tash and Barton were having the time of their lives drinking and being idiots,

'I don't think they thought this through... are they dating? Or just really drunk? Or maybe both... Best friends can be drunk and have fun too...'

Steve stopped staring at the two when he noticed a fully wasted Stark tripping over himself at the bar and just about to fall over. He walked over and steadied Tony. "Okay man, I think you've had enough for tonight..."

Tony's worn down but somehow shining brown eyes looked up at Steve and he paused,

'I wonder just what drunken thoughts are running through his head... Negative. As I thought before, him being drunk. This. Him. Right here. Is why I don't like him.'

Steve thought, he then sat Tony down at a table and walked off to go drag Romanoff and Barton over to the table. "Where you goin Cap'n Rogers?..." Steve heard Stark slur from the table, he did his best to ignore Tony and motioned the two over- it was quickly clear Barton was not even close to how intoxicated Tash was, in fact... he seemed a little sober,

"What's up, man?" Clint asked as he helped Nat away from the dance floor, he paused seeing Tony then rolled his eyes. "I'll get a cab or something." He groaned and hooked his arm with Nat's, making sure she wasn't wandering off as they walked out.

Cap looked back to the drunken man sitting a few feet away from him, "Alright come on buddy-" he said as he helped his friend up and put his hand on the brunets arm. It was hard to believe Tony had never been sent to the hospital for something like this, had he? Captain began leading him out and paused hearing-

"Capsicle!- St-Steven wait." He quickly whipped around to make sure the shorter man was okay. His blue eyes met brown in complete silence, besides of course the music and other people around them.

"Are you... okay?..." the blonde asked worriedly, afraid Tony had somehow managed to hurt himself in the past five seconds he'd been standing up and walking.

"Yea... b-but... Steve has anyone ever told you-... you have really beautiful eyes... like... t-they look like mother nature handcrafted them... but not like kids crafts... not messy and with stupid macaroni noodles everywhere... they're just... perfect..." Stark had slurred and spluttered somewhat but kept his brown orbs glued to Stevens. Meanwhile, he was in total and utter shock,

"What... was that? Did he just call my eyes beautiful and perfect?... Why? Jeez... he's like a whole other person when he's drunk...' That was one of the stupidest and yet most amazing things he had ever heard come out of the brunets mouth. "Okay- wow I didn't think you were that drunk, come on we seriously have to get you back to the tower and in bed Tony..."

Steve positioned himself under Tony's arm a bit to make sure his intoxicated friend didn't fall in any way, though he was completely caught off guard as his lips met Tony's- and not by his doing! For a moment Cap instinctively melted into it, the warmth and peace... oblivious to whatever else was happening. He then realized just what the hell he was doing and pulled away. Tony broke into a soft stupid laughter.

'Positive Tony kissed me- Positive I liked it. wait... Negative Tony kissed me that's negative! Negative it is bad for me to have liked it! Negative, negative, negative. He has a lovely girlfriend and he's completely trashed! And not to mention he's freaking bone straight! Stop being an idiot Steven!'
