"Lilly leave me alone. You are so annoying!" I shouted.
Lilly is my eight year old sister and let me tell you something.
She's worst than a mosquito!
"Anna stop acting like your in charge you're only sixteen!" Lilly said, yucking my prom dress out of my hand.
The dress began to rip.
"I know you did not just do that. I'm going to close my eyes for five seconds" I said calmly as I began counting.
"1...,2...,3...,4...,5."Unfortunately, I was not dreaming.
"LILLY! I HAVE PROM TONIGHT! NOW WHAT IM I GOING TO WEAR? GOSH!" I said, screaming to the top of my lungs.
I grabbed Lilly's right arm and threw her out of my room out of frustration. There I was sitting on the edge of my bed, staring at the white ceiling and still pondering on what I was going to put on.
I then began walking in circles and pulling out my hair stressfully knowing that my crush is going to be at prom without a doubt. Finally, a light bulb started to turn on in my big round head and the cob webs started to disappear. I picked up my cellphone and called my best friend Dana.
"I'll be right over in 5 minutes."she said.Dana and I have been best friends from since kindergarten but what's even better is that she lives right across from me! I then looked out of my only window which is facing Dana's peach and white two story house. I notice her running in a gorgeous pink dress which was short in the front and long in the back with sparkles all over it. She was holding a long two piece burgundy dress in her hand. I then ran downstairs pass my mom and straight to the front door.
"Hey girl, you're a mess!" Dana said in shock.
"I know, Lilly caused all of this" I replied whilst rolling my eyes.
"Lets go upstairs."
I then heard my fourteen year old brother checking out Dana.
"WOW! Sexy in the pink!" he said.
"George, can you like not?" I said.
Me and Dana then made our way upstairs and she helped me with my makeup and everything.
"Thank you so much! I don't know what I would've done." I said, happily hugging her.
"It's all good but don't thank me, thank God that my mom still has that dress from her interview with Steve Harvey." Dana said.Dana is very rich obviously. Her parents are very wealthy and Dana isn't spoiled although she can practically get whatever she wants. Unlike me, My mom owns her own business where she bakes pastries and sells them. It wasn't much, but my dad still sent money every now and then due to him being in the military. He lived in Florida whilst we lived in New York.
I ran my hands over my dress and grabbed my sliver high heels which matched my clutch, corsage, watch and head piece.
We then both headed to my black Honda Civic car.
"Ok now. Who's driving?" I asked.
"I'll drive." Dana said with a big smile on her diamond shaped face as she made her way to the driver's side of the vehicle.
"Are you ready for prom?" Dana asked, excitedly.
"Yes girl! Let's roll." I replied.
We then drove off eager to head to prom.
