It was a regular day at the guild. Natsu and Gray were fighting, Erza was eating her cake in the corner(so it couldn't get destroyed), Elfman was blabbing about begin a man, and Lucy was at the bar drinking a strawberry milkshake.
Lucy's POV.
Well I guess I won't be going on a job so, since my rent was payed for 3 months."Luce! Want to go on a job with me?" The red haired boy asked. Why can't I ever relax for once? "Not right no Nastu." I say trying not to look into his puppy dog eyes.
Narrator's POV.
Nastu sighed and question"But will you do it for 500,000 jewels?" Lucy thought about it and gave in."*Sigh*Fine. What's the job?" Natsu gave his toothy grin and took out the flier to read it out loud"Help plan a royal ball by the end of the week.""Sounds easy enough.""So we leave at 4:00 o'clock and don't be late!" And with that he walked away."He liiiiiiikkkeeess you." Mira told Lucy out of the blue."Shut up!" Lucy shouted, but at the same time blushing. Lucy went back to sipping her milkshake while Mira walked away. The guild master came from up stairs and stood on top of the bar."Hey brats, listens up!...." He shout and every thing became silent."This season is mating season and we are going to be having party sponsored by Mira. So dress formal and bring a date! That will be all." With that, he went back up stairs and shut the door.
"What!"The guild said in unison. Some of the girls ran out of the guild to by dresses and most of the boys were whispering. Mira went up to Lucy and said"Hey Lucy! You think Nastu is going to ask you to be his mate?""Mira, would you please stop playing match maker.........besides, he's going to choose some else any way." She whisper the last part. Mira just smiled and kept whispering"NaLu!NaLu!Nalu!"Lucy just ignored her and went into deep thought.'Even if he likes me he's to dense to say anything, besides he has Lissana.'
