.Age 4-5: (kindergarten)
I was a happy child once. Mommy and daddy gave me all the love I needed. Yes, it hurt that kids bullied me for being a halfie, but I was happy to know people loved me.
Age 5-6 (1st grade) & Age 6-7 (2nd grade):
Same old bullies and stuff
Age 7-8: (3rd grade)
The bullying got worst. They say I shouldn't be here, that I'm a monster. I just ignored them, cause I knew mama and dada were gonna give lots of hugs and kisses to me. That is until I was called out of classes.
Mama was waiting in the halls for me. She took me home, where I expected to see daddy. "Mama, where's dada?" She looked at me and dropped to the floor to hug my tiny shoulders.
"I'm so sorry sweetie!!" Mama was crying and hugging me. 'No don't cry! I'm supposed to cry when the bullies hurt me!'
"Why do you cry mama!? Did you get bullied too!?" I hugged mama, rubbing her back.She looked at my even more devastated. "It's your f-fa-father baby, he was hurt b-badly and may *hic* never wake up again," I looked at her as more tears fell off her face.
The weight of those words crushed me hard. I lost a third of my heart as I stood there, tears streaking my cheeks. Mama hugged me repeating the words I never wanna hear again;
"I'm so sorry sweetie!"Age 8-9: (4th grade)
"Look it's the fatherless halfie!!" "Ew I can't believe she comes to school with us!" "Haha maybe if we push her around she'd leave." I glared at the kids coming my way. I dare them to touch me, cause they gonna be in the hospital when I'm done!
(Beginning of 4th grade):
After being constantly bullied, my mother finally transferred us to a different school in the state my father was born and buried, where she teaches Algebra to the high-schoolers. Everything was ok until my recent ex-best friend revealed I was a Halfie.Everyone knew I didn't have a father, when only my mother came for Parent Presentation Day, wearing the band that lets one know their spouse is dead. Everyone was nice and understanding about not having a dad like them. I made many friends, but hid the fact I was a Halfie.
(Middle of 4th grade):
It all started when I was outside with my first crush, Aden-a wolf shifter, who apparently liked me back. My friend, Fawn- also a cat shifter, liked my crush too. She thought I was human, so when she found out I liked Aden, she said "Aden is for shifters only."You see, this made me mad and well... I finally snapped and showed her my half form. What I forgot was that other kids were coming outside. "EW SYLVIE IS A HALFIE!" Fawn yelled gaining everyone's attention, especially Aden. He looked so heart-broken and disturbed, that when we made eye-contact I immediately ran away.
I avoided everyone like the plague. Aden would stare at me every once in a while, only to look away when I make eye contact. Fawn became more daring and flirty since I was out of the picture.
(Last day of school):
"Sylvie wait! I need to talk with you!" I stopped walking as we are the only kids left in the halls. I couldn't look at his face, fearing he'd hurt me more."I've always liked you! But I'm sorry I can't be with you... cuz you're a Bi-Shifter, father would probably kill us for being together and I don't want him to hurt you!" By now tears were streaming my cheeks. I looked at him and kissed his cheek, "then give up. Please don't forget to be true to yourself when you do fall for another." With that I went home and cried in my room.
Age 9-10: (5th grade)
Apparently, Aden was pushed into engagement by his father and Fawn's. Aden and Fawn are 'dating' for now until they are legally bonded.
Officially, I become a loner and retaliate against everyone who messes with me. Later being called the Missile, as they don't know where or how I'll strike. All they know is to be ready.
Age 10-11: (6th grade);
Age 12-13: (7th grade);&
Age 13-14: (8th grade)Angsty hatred towards every prejudice bully. Acts as the mature head of the house in her father's stead.
