~Ava's POV~

It's been at least almost a week since that kiss between me and Jack, and our conversation. I still hadn't figured out what he meant by Madison being his distraction from me. I almost can't believe him because him and Madison have actually became more closer lately and I'm pretty sure that they are soon going to start dating.

I heard my teacher clear his throat.

"Ms Richardson? Would you like to explain to the class what you are obviously dreaming into space about?"

I quickly snapped out of my thoughts and I looked to my teacher.

"Huh-Oh I'm sorry Mr. Gilbert."

Since you're asking Mr Gilbert or whatever the heck your name is I was supposedly "dreaming" about my boy problems and what my ex means by my archenemy being a distraction to him.

Of course I didn't say that to him lol 😂

My thoughts were interrupted once again when the bell for us to move to the next class rang. I grabbed all my stuff and headed out the class passing by crowds in the hallways and going to my locker.

I opened my locker and put my stuff from the previous class in it and then closed it.

I jumped when I saw a certain someone leaning against the locker and looking at me.

Ok guys that's it for today who do u think that person was?

Cameron.

I dropped all my books and mumbled a curse word under my breath. He chuckled and picked up the books for me handing it back to me.

"Sorry for that Ave. Did I scare you?" He asked, with a concerned look on his face.

"What do you think," I replied in a jokingly manner.

We both laughed. Then he cleared his throat.

"Um Ava?"

"Hmm? What's up?"

"Well, you seem to have a lot on your mind this week. Is everything okay?"

"Yes, everything's perfect it's just you know school," I lied.

No. I'm not okay. Nothing is right now.

"Oh ok. I just wanted to ask if you would like to go out for lunch after school today. What do you say? 7:00 pm?"

I blushed so hard. CAMERON IS ASKING ME ON A DATE OH MY GOSHHH? Is it just me or all my dreams are coming true??

"Are you asking me on a date Cam," I asked, curiously smirking.

He put his hands in his pockets and shrugged. "Well..it depends on the way you put it."

"Well. I'd love to! I'm not busy today so I will." I told him, smiling widely.

He began to blush and he looked down. "I'll pick you up at 7:00. Dress nice!" He said, then running away.

I just chuckled and shook my head. Then suddenly Kassie and Arielle popped out of nowhere.

"OOUUUU girl!!! You got a date with Cameron! Congrats!" They said all giving me high-fives.

"You'reLucky girl! He sure is a hot tamale!" Arielle said, making us all laugh super hard.

I was really looking forward to the date with Cameron. I wonder what would happen...

*skip school*

I was so nervous for my date with Cameron. What if I stutter with my words? What if I don't show any manners? What if I make it so awkward he won't like me anymore?

Ok I need to calm down.

I walked out of the bathroom and looked at my self in my full-length mirror and check out my outfit.

I wore a velvet gray off shoulder dress with a front slit and white Jessica Simpson ankle strap heels. I had a full makeup look and my hair was curled and put up in a high ponytail with 2 locks of hair in the front. I took my purse with me and left the room and walked down the stairs.

My mom was currently in the kitchen cooking and as soon as she saw me walk down the stairs her jaw dropped. I just shook my head.

"So mom—what do you think," I asked, wanting to know her opinion on my outfit.

"Oh my Avi. You look so beautiful, I could almost cry," She said, pretending she was about to cry.

"Omg mom stoooop. But I'm so nervous, what if I mess up something?"

My hands were literally shaking.

"Don't worry honey you will be ok you are definitely going to sweep him off his feet."

As soon as she made that comment the doorbell rang and I tensed up. "Good luck honey!" She told me before I walked to the door.

I opened the door and there I saw a dressed up Cameron with a bouquet of beautiful roses in his hands. He looked so handsome. His hair was in a quiff style, and he had on a black plaid shirt tucked in with white jeans and black ALDO Oxford dress shoes.

"Wow Ava, you look-amazing. You're so beautiful," He said, trying to hide out the fact that he was blushing.

"You don't look too bad yourself," I say smirking.

"Shall we go," he says in a funny accent.

"We shall," I reply back making us both laugh.

This is going to be a wonderful night..
