I hate........
The thing i hate most in the world is "people who hate celebrities,singers and boybands that i do, for no apparent reason.
This is because no one thats not in the fandom knows what that person/ these people have been through. It takes alot of hard work to get into the limelight. Stress can easily take over, pressure can get too much and you can just go over the edge.
A great example of this is Ashton Irwin from Austrailian punk rock band, 5sos (five seconds of summer). He self harmed and stopped to show fans that he knows what its like, also to show that you can stop.
Now he just gets on with his life and whenever he sees a fan with scars at a signing, he draws a butterfly over the top of them. He relates to issues that girls as well as some boys find difficult to get through.
A second person is Nicholas McDonald. He came second on 2013's X-Facto, to Sam Baile. He calles his fans Nicksters, as well as people not liking him, he has the everyday struggle of taking medication- without it he could die. As many of us would be okay with that, at the age of just 17, it could come down quite hard on him.
At the age of just 8 he was playing footbal in his hometown of Motherwell, which is around twenty minutes outside of Glasgow. When he had a heart attack on the pitch, causing him to die, his coach rushed over and saved his life using CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resusciation).
In hospital he was diagnosed with Long QT Syndrome, which means he can have an extremely irregular heart beat.
People despise him but like i said, no one seems to know what he's been thrugh.
The penultimate person is Stephen Gately. He burst onto the scene in 1994 in the latest boyband, Boyzone. Managed by none other than Louis Wals. After five years he felt it was time to say and he came out as gay, he reported that he didnt want to ruin the boy's career. People supprted them, some people left the fandom but they were replacedby many more people supporting him.
In 2002 Elton John introduced him to Andrew Cowles, who he later married. In 2009 Boyzone reunited after 9 years after they split and after releasing an album, Stephen and Andrew went to Mallorca when Stephen tragically died. Aged just 33 years.
One last example is Bars And Melody, Leondre, 13, from Port Talbot, Swansea and Charlie, 15 from Bristolmake up Bam. They auditioned for BGT 2014 , singing Hopeful by Twista and Faith Evans, with a twist on the rap, as Leondrewrote it himself. The rap seemed to be on bullying, as Leondre had had an encounter with it. For the semi's they sang Missing you, another thing they had been through.
Even if you loathe boybands or singers, you dont know what the've been throughto get to where they are today or what added pressures they have. My advice is to give people a chance and accept them for everything, especially their flaws.
